Some of the best tacos and Mexican food you’ll have. Highly recommend. They have a truck that started this whole thing and the restaurant is as good a quality
It's a Mexican neighborhood. You will see many Mexican families here. you will see me here because they have goat- and goat that is cooked so well! my friend loves their burritos. And everyone loves their tacos- esp on the truck just a few blocks away (they have birria!). The staff is also very friendly and accommodating. If you're in the neighborhood and want an affordable but delicious Mexican meal, you can't go wrong with this place.
i did delivery and paid via phone on the credit card, including tip. but then they added even more (around $5) on top of that. i didn’t dispute it because we are in a pandemic and it’s hard for restaurants so i figured maybe they really needed the extra money they took. but i think it’s a shame because now i can’t trust them even though their food is good and i’ve previously ordered before without this problem.
Food is awesome but Horrible customer service just called on the phone and the lady was being so rude
If I want a taco I come here and I live all the way in Astoria…so that should say something.Extremely cheap tacos (for NYC). They have two sizes, regular and large. Regular goes for $2.50 and large is $3.00 which includes guacamole. Honestly, the meats were SO well seasoned and juicy. The tortillas were so crispy and just the fresh cilantro with onion gave the meat a kick. We ordered 4 tacos and we waited for 20 minutes.I gave it four stars because the waitress sat us down and did not clean the table. We got a bunch of hand sanitizer and wiped off a lot of crumbs so it was taken care of but because it’s Covid times, I feel like the staff should be a bit more attentive to the common areas. Also, they do give you free salsa and chips while you wait for your food. Best bang for your buck!
We’ve been coming to this restaurant for years. Food is great but customer service is horrible. Those waitresses are always in a bad mood, they’re not welcoming, they treat customers like shit… management really need to pay attention at their servers. Last time we order three fajitas, they were mostly peppers and onions, barely any meat… C’mon Tacos El Bronco! You can do better than that or you will start losing customers
The service is rush I felt extremely rush I was ask by 3 different waiters if I was ready to order I had just taken a seat not even 4min in And the people next to us sat down before me and did not even get a menu till 15min later note it was not busy to be used as an excuse ……….There quality on food has gonna down it was much better before kind disappointed was looking forwardOrder a smoothie that look and taste like it was 2 days oldHopefully my overview and opinion help
Best tacos I have had so far in NYC. There are so many taco and other food options to choose; they have both common tacos (e.g. carnitas, asada) and less common ones (e.g. cabeza - head, lengua - tongue). The price is affordable. The wait for food was pretty long since they had quite a lot of customers when we visited.
We have eaten at this restaurant many times. We have even recommended it to others and have eaten there with family, friends on many different occasions. I always order Enchiladas Mixtas en Salsa Verde and my husband usually orders from the special of the day menu. At the restaurant the food is served neatly, rice and beans separate from the enchiladas, for example. We decided to order take out and what a disappointment.$32 for these 2 dishes- this was around 8pm on a Monday- it wasn’t a lunch special deal or anything like that. Just takeout dinner on a Monday night. I was so upset when I opened our meal and saw what was served- no side of hot sauce included. The enchiladas are all squished sideways in this small take out container with rice & a pinch of beans. The rice getting all soggy with the sauce- there goes the option of sharing my meal with my toddler, as I always do. My husband’s special of the day dish was, oh man- terrible. I mean- look at it. I started eating Tacos Broncos from their truck and going to the restaurant a few times a month became our norm. I’m not a new customer- I have expectations of a dish I eat each time I go to the restaurant. It should be no different for take out especially if the price is the same as dining in (chips & salsa not included of course). I called the restaurant, told them all of this & the lady who answered said she would let the manager know…..I guess it’s time to try a different Mexican food restaurant.
Love the Chicken tacos! I highly recommend them. The staff is friendly and timing wise, they are pretty quick.
