I ate with a few friends here for dinner this week. I loved the cozy vibes of the restaurant, there was really soft lighting and good decor. The wait staff were kind and attentive. The menu prices are pretty good, especially for the cocktails. I ordered a margarita, which was tasty but on the weaker side. We enjoyed our meals - I ordered the chivito completo. It was good, but the fries were the best part!Overall we had a wonderful dining experience. Leaving 4 out of 5 because the drinks aren't very strong and they only accept cash or Amex as payment.
Super cute place. Wonderfully decorated and not super packed in like some places. Great for a romantic night out.Service was top notch. Drinks and food came quickly, hot and fresh. Proveleta was delicious, salty, cheesy goodness. Skirt and ribeye were cooked just right, coulda used a bit more flavor on the ribeye but otherwise delicious. We skipped dessert, the choices were too limited anyhow.
I really enjoyed this restaurant. The decor and dark settings give that place a very nice vibe. Stake was delicious and there are plenty of signature drinks for everyone. Will definitely be back for more.
Came here with my gf for a Valentine's day dinner. It's a nice smallish place, dark setting with a chill / private vibe. The staff was great, very attentive and friendly. With the food I have mixed feelings. We ordered 2 empanadas, 1 beef and 1 chicken. They were both delicious. The drinks we ordered were also very good, a sangria and mojito I believe. Now this is where my mixed feelings come in. We ordered 2 different cuts of steak medium rare, the churrasco and the other I forgot (and cannot find it on their online menu). What we received were 2 rare steaks and due to the dark setting we couldn't tell right away. Everything was great besides the rare steaks. I would go back to try other items on their menu and update my review if needed.
Cozy date spot with a great menu and extensive wine list. Staff was super nice and accommodating. Got the steak with chimichurri, octopus casserole, kale salad, and bottle of Malbec. Couldn't have asked for a better place to take my girl! 10/10 would recommend.
Don’t sleep on Tabaré!!! The Huevos De Campo and the Chivito Completo were INCREDIBLE. We said “wow” mid bite at least 10 times during brunch. Atmosphere, service, and food and drinks are all A+.
Tabaré is an awesome hidden gem in Bushwick. Their menu is fantastic and the ambiance of the place is wonderful with dark/orange lighting and as beautiful bar. The cocktails were delicious and the food was amazing. I highly recommend the octopus casserole, seafood pasta, and whatever meats your heart desires!! Everything was absolutely delicious and they have great prices on bottles of wine. Our waiter was very friendly and we had a wonderful dinner, highly recommend!
Churrasco was on point - nice that they have happy hour for cocktails. Cash only. Desert was innovative and paired well with a double espresso. I only wish they would serve the chocolate mousse in the cookie as a separate desert!
