Nice meal, great food it was prefect and everything went well
The food here is delicious.I really enjoyed my dish - Salmon, string beans, Mac and cheese!
We had the swai fried with Mac and cheese and yams it was delicious
The wings are really good. Everything else is horrible. I'm big on sides so it was a big disappointment on how bad they were. Just very underwhelming. Nothing was really flavored or cooked right. Tasted like the sides you would avoid at the cookout.
I was visiting New York from Raleigh NC this is some of the BEST soul food I've had!!! Better than anything I've had in Raleigh. The food was cooked fresh and seasoned to perfection!!!
I was in town for World Pride back in 2019, and a friend brought me to T-Roc's place....wow I still think about his cooking to this day. Even throughout covid lockdowns I'd ask my friend if they were still open and doing okay because I can not wait to come back to Brooklyn to eat here (I'm from Toronto)The catfish was amazing, but everything we ordered was fantastic. T-Roc came and sat with us, and made the whole experience so personal and welcoming, I actually had to take a photo with him before I left because I couldn't believe how wonderful he was ? I'll never forget you T-Roc!! ???
The people (specifically the young lady) are rude and nasty. I asked a question about a menu item that was very vague (fish chunks) and she responded rudely with sarcasm and never gave a description. I left without ordering. Don't patronize this business if you value being respected.
Always love the wings their excellent my third time there and my Mac and cheese was dry and burnt for the second time .. collard greens were good and love the ice teas but will not be ordering mac and cheese anymore.. don't like buying food more than once from the same place and not be satisfied .. all in all hospitality and current service is great but u will wait awhile... yes i recommend them
I love this place very much. It has a special spirit. The food is great. the service is effective and the personel is professional. The cost is fair. I warmly recommend.
Only had collard greens, half chicken, and macaroni and cheese with cornbread, The macaroni cheese was not cheesy or seasoned, very mediocre, the chicken tasted like a good Chinese restaurant fries their wings, the collard greens are pretty good.
