Great staff, the tacos cost alot but they are amazing!
Awesome place and a great hangout. This place is definitely a destination. Last night they had a badass DJ, everybody was having a great time. The food is delicious and the service is superb. They have this "speak easy" style backyard which is very inviting. The sound system is very good you can hear the music everywhere including the back yard. I really like the vibe and I'm definitely going back over and over again!
Love the vibe here. Solid beer list, tasty tacos, games available. Their quirky bathroom is a fave as well
The bartenders were both nice and the beer was good. Cool, relaxed atmosphere and wasn't packed. We played a couple of the board games they had so that added some fun.
It was quiet tonight. Uncomfortable seating and chill vibe. Staff was excellent. Would definitely go back.
food is fine; the beer selection is not. However, it's quiet, calm, and relaxed--the mood and feel of the bar; the cocktail selection, touristy, peachy, basic.
A favorite always! I honestly come just for the tacos and the projection of surfer films on the wall. This place (and Kolache!) will always have a special place in my heart
This place is so amazing and unique if you know what to order ?I recommend the Adsilog (pulled pork - Filipino style), and the spam taco, yes spam if you know what’s up. The rest of obv good but I’m trying to help you get what the local filipinos order.Oh, and try the ube painkiller! So damn good.
The Swell’s $5 tiny bland tacos leaves more to be desired. Just stay home and make your own tacos from scratch. All the food is overpriced and are really small portions. They need a full-on redo of their menu. It has potential. ??♀️ On the other hand, Brooklyn Kolache is so so good.
Without a doubt my favorite tacos in the city. Their breakfast tacos, especially, are out of this world! If you're a vegetarian, you're in luck because their cauliflower tacos are some of the best on the menu.The bar staff is friendly, they have a great beer selection, and a nice backyard sitting area. I cannot recommend this place enough!
