Just saw this restaurant on grubhub and decided to give it a shot and I was extremely happy I did. All the hand rolls were excellent and the sushi roll was really top notch. It brought back memories of other restaurants that used to be open in Manhattan and I'm so glad this one is so local to our office.The pictures are my own sitting at my desk and and hope you enjoy and try this place as well.
The worst rolls I have ever seen. The fish is not fresh enough. The sizes are super small but they have super fancy sushi boxes? Can't believe it's that bad for the price. Real scam.
Always Amazing!!!! When I ordered from Grubhub the sushi was so good and the box it came in was really cool, that I just had to pay a visit to the actual place. And let me tell you, it was just as good as when I ordered it for delivery. Definitely please give this place a try. You will not be disappointed. ❤️
We have ordered there twice. And both times some ingredients just were forgotten to put. Today no any sauce. The first time no avocado and grilled eel. The first time it was anyway very delicious , and today is mot good.
I feel as if some of the employees at this establishment can’t read, or just don’t care about their job. Their food itself is fairly consistent, and tastes great, but I’ve ordered delivery from them fairly often, and almost every time, they miss some kind of instruction, or order detail. That doesn’t include the fact that they mostly never include and utensils or napkins in their bags; as if they except every customer to either eat their order at home, or with their hands.

This restaurant Sweetfish is the absolute best thing to happen in Sheepshedbay in ages. Not only do they have the best sushi I’ve ever tasted, but in addition you can build your own bowls of the finest ingredients there is. I’ve never left a review before on anything but felt I had to let all of Brooklyn know about this amazing establishment. The brothers who own it are two of the nicest people I’ve ever met & the staff are just terrific & really helpful. Living across the street from Sweetfish I feel like I’m in a resort with the best sushi restsurant around. This is a must try for everyone. Sweetfish is Superb!!
Update: restaurant owner very generously offered to repeat the order and gift us an additional omakase set. There were many improvements. Likely the original order was a one time mishap.Ordered 1 catch of the day 24 piece set and 1 pick and roll set. Very disappointed. The rice to fish ratio is off, first time in my life that salmon wasn’t edible, sushi pieces were sloppy. The best part was their ginger. Quality completely not the same as poke spot.
Just have ordered sushi in this restaurant.$100 for this?? Really?No chopsticks, wasabi, soy sauce.Long wait.Not recommend absolutely
The fish was very fresh and the rolls were very good!! Crispy rice is a must try. Owner recommended the yuzu honey sauce which was amazing with the rolls. Great place for sushi and poke!!
