Excellent service and quality. I will definitely come back again. The miso soup and shumai came out pretty quickly and was good. The mini Omakase for $30 was great, it came with with 5 individual sushi and 1 piece hand roll that was fresh and tasty too.The spicy tuna and spicy salmon hand rolls were flavorful. The ginger even tasted better than other places. Whatever they’re doing here, they’re doing right.

Had a great time last night. We did the $65 omakase and added a bunch of apps and desserts. Fish was fresh and presentation beautiful. Dessert mochi was fantastic. Only thing I wish they had was (a) more craft beer and (b) more deep fried foods for vegetarians, such as vegetable spring rolls or gyozas.

This place has far better atmosphere than food. Just go to Geido next door you won’t be disappointed. Best sushi in Brooklyn, maybe even all of New York.

I was craving for good quality sushi but was not hungry enough. I knew I wanted to do omakase but didn’t want to get a full one especially knowing that I wouldn’t be able to enjoy all without feeling too stuffed. At Sushi Lin, you can get a mini omakase! So I ordered a mini omakase which came with 5 pieces of sushi and a hand roll. I also ordered an uni tasting. Everything was perfect! It was just the right amount of food that satisfied me and I did not feel too full. Everything tasted very fresh and flavorful. I was quite surprised how much I enjoyed the charred tomato over salmon. I’m totally getting a torch to char tomatoes from now on! ?

So yummy! Great service. Tight space but very cute.

The main benefit of living in NYC for me is the availability of interesting unique restaurants. Sushi Lin came up as such an opportunity and I was eager to try that experience.I went for the Top Omakase offer on the menu. The $110 offering. The place is small, definitely nice. I sat at the bar in front of Chef Lin who was definitely nice. The dishes were interesting. The service was nice. In all honesty, It just wasn’t an amazing, memorable, earth shattering experience I expected.I guess for me, a nice, very fresh, good size serving of the actual fish is what does it.The servings here looked interesting. Though, I couldn’t really taste the gold flakes, as interesting as it looked and, I prefer fresh over torched sashimi.Your miles may very. For me, that experience eliminated the need for more Omakase experiences here. A fashionable trend that continues to spread here with escalating price tags. For comparison I attached some the servings I got in HK, BK, and my favorite sushi restaurant in South Hadley MA. All at the fraction of the cost here. (airline ticket not included). ?

Best value omekase in NYC

Staff was very attentive. Service was impeccable and taste was amazing. Had the full course meal.

Sushi Lin has the Best shrimp tempura that you can find in the city. Everything they have is amazing and tasty. They are true professionals making real one of kind sushi ? it is my favorite place. While you are there try their amazing selection of Japanese beer ? too ? enjoy

We’ve had several omakase experiences across Manhattan and Brooklyn, and Sushi Lin served us a top-tier 10-piece set for just $60 each. We loved every bite, and couldn’t believe the value! The chefs and service were great from start to finish, and the vibe was great for a date.Special shout-out to the “triple-decker” sushi: seared fatty tuna, uni, and Russian caviar. It’s a show-stopper.Since we live close-by, we’ll definitely make this a regular spot!
