An open food market that takes place every Saturday from morning to afternoon. There are several dozen booths selling fast food or street food and various drinks. Hundreds of visitors come to the place and the atmosphere is pleasant, fun and lively. The food is delicious and presents foods from different countries. It's worth a try. The market is inside East River State Park The address is 90 Kent Ave in Brooklyn.
large variety of vendors & cuisines. Great intro to a bit of every cultures food.Parking around the vicinity was easy. went around 3.it can get crowded at times and can be uncomfortable going to different vendors.the park is clean, has lots of space for seating, and has a lot of portapotties with a multiple hand washing station.if possible i recommend you to come early to try as many things as you can.
So many food and drink options. My favorites were the $10 passionfruit chamoy/ tajin slush and the $28 lobster roll (expensive but so freaken good)
Amazing food options here.Bark bbq was amazing, the best bbq I've had in NYC.Home frites was pretty good. The duck fat poutine was really good.
Glad they reopened..lot of creative food options to try. Go hungry,so you can try at least few of them. There are outdoor seatings available or can walk to waterfront park to enjoy the food with Manhattan skyline view
Very nice experience and so many choices. We had pork buns, cheese sticks, Philly cheesesteaks, arepas, birria dumplings, kebabs and tacos.
Lines here are definitely long so come with a couple of friends to wait at multiple spots! Love that they have a seating area to eat, some of the other smorgasburg don’t have any seating area.
Lots of choices for food, and a great atmosphere. It can be too crowded at some times, which makes the experience unpleasant. However, when the weather is nice, I highly recommend a try!
This place is a MUST visit for foodies! ?? Smorgasburg is a fantastic open street fair food market with an endless selection of delicious ? food! Enjoy browsing an great selection of meats ?, desserts , cookies ?, pasta ?, pies ?, drinks ?, and so so so much more! This weekend market has many Instagram-worthy ? items such as Fluffy Pancakes ? and Donut-shaped ? Pasta! I wish I came here more often!
Smorgasburg is definitely a fun experience on a nice day by yourself or with friends to share! There's lots of options with vegetarian and vegan ones too (not as many but at least there are some). It is expensive, the prices are not deceased at all and it adds up if you want to buy more than one or two items. That's why I suggest coming with a friend or two and split things if you can. The lines get long at the popular spots, but that's what always happens anywhere good in NYC. It's open until end if October, so get there if you haven't already!
