Great food with equal service. The borscht was excellent. This coming from an American-Russian who is very critical of her cuisine.

My buddy and I both got lamb kabobs and home fries. Food was great. I was here about eleven years too. The place hasn't changed. Still good food and still good service. Reasonable prices too, all things considered.

Delicious Russian lunch special offerings make this a great place to stop for a bite when you are in the Brighton Beach area. Really nice decor and ambience! Just look for the giant bear out front!

Gathered with friends for lunch on Sunday- and it was a fantastic experience. Waiter was beyond friendly & helpful -spoke Russian & English. Restaurant is cozy, clean, and comfortable (not cramped). Food was fresh, delivered quickly. We ordered everything: Pelmeni, Piroshky, vareniki?, grilled meats, fresh vegetable salads; picked fruits (WOW - delicious), couscous, fried potatoes, and who knows what else. EVERY SINGLE ITEM was fresh, delicious & fantastic. One of my favorite restaurants in NYC!

I had the Olivier salad and the Siberian dumplings which were very delicious. The restaurant is ez to get which is right off the Brighton Beach Q stop. My serv Anatoly was helpful with suggestions and nice.

It is one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to. Food is so delicious - hard to describe how good it is. The waiter was so polite and welcoming to me. Overall, I loved this place, and I would recommend anyone to try meals here.

Thanks Yes , food was delicious, not crowded and the service was superb?

Delicious typical Russian food and great atmosphere

It's not just good Russian food, it is an experience. Generous portions, everything was very fresh and yummy. Kharcho was my favorite from my order but everything else was excellent, too. Great spot to check out!

Was forward to show to my friend what kind of Russian food is, but as soon as we walked in the owner was straight with us with no welcoming. Ask what we want, talk unprofessional and super rood. Instead of ordering main dish, we just drink water and one cup of soup. I was so embarrassed and we left right away. Think before you go there!
