Horrible, they advertise halal food they don't sale, the food is overpriced and taste disgusting, it's sad how my people have no clue in business but still try, I asked the woman for halal she looked at me and lie i paid $28 for the food bc I didn't feel like arguing with her than tossed it in the garbage.

Food was fresh and delicious. Nice portions. We ordered the grilled fish with atteke. The only challenge we had was the delivery guy did not speak English well and it was difficult to communicate. I recommend this place and will order again.
The African dishes that distinguish this restaurant from the others in Brownsville are kept in the kitchen and are not on display for self-served like the Caribbean and Soul foods.The proprietor prepares the African food orders away from public view, and the main ingredient(s) that actually make the dish is small. I ordered the mafe served with rice as per the menu, but I was charged for the rice separately as if it was a side order. I was charged $5.00 for the rice. And, there were only 4 tiny pieces of lamb in the peanut butter sauce.Their thiebu djeun order is mostly rice with a tiny portion of fish and vegetables.Buyer beware and I recommend that you check your African food orders before you leave

Was incredibly rude and even tho they didnt close for another hour they didnt serve us. Felt judged when just asking simple questions. Wish I got to taste the food but customer service made me lose my appetite
