Amazing gem! We had dinner on the back patio and it was amazing! Food was outstanding and the drink menu was soooo good. And gluten free pita??? Seriously, best eats I've had in a long time. This is my new go-to!
After many positive reviews from friends and on line, we went. The service and staff were terrific. It possibly could have just been on off night for the chef. The fried calamari was terrific, though. It was lightly battered and tender. The octopus fell short as the texture was very mushy. The lamb shank was tender but little seasoning. Even the sauce with the helopita pasta was bland. The dish needed herbs, garlic, and seasonings. They were very kind in bringing a dessert in honor of my friend's birthday. We will come back at another time when the back patio is open which hopefully will have some atmosphere to make it feel more like a Greek taverna. We will give it another try then and try the whole fish dishes then. We would recommend it to friends with our above critique.

Ordered delivery of lamb gyro, fries, peasant salad, tatziki. The food is so overpriced and low quality. The lamb was bland, tasted old, and both my wife and I don't feel well after eating it. Disgusting.The fries were lifeless and stale with no flavor. The salad was way overpriced. Everything about our order was terrible.I will never eat here again.

REVIEW FROM AN ACTUAL GREEK PERSON: friends and neighbors, it has been a very long time since I have found GOOD Greek food. My grandma passed in 2004 and she was an absolute magician in the kitchen. Her food was legendary and is still talked about to this day. So to say I have high standards would be an understatement. Nothing has come close, including most of the places I've tried in Astoria. That is why I am very glad to have found this new, incredible establishment in the neighborhood. It is located on 5th between President and Carroll. I ordered delivery from here a couple times - once the skirt steak and once the rack of lamb - and both times everything was so great that I decided to stop by in person. The flavors were phenomenal and everything was cooked perfectly. They even use the correct amount of lemon in their lemon potatoes (a ton). They also know how to make a Greek salad the way they do in Greece - no lettuce and a stack of vegetables with a big block of feta on top. And not only do they have great food, but they have beautiful decor, street seating, and a lovely little deck in back. I've been to other "Greek" restaurants in the neighborhood and the food and the prices are way off. This is truly the spot for authentic Greek and we are so lucky to have it.
Great quality food, generous portions and good prices. The outdoor backyard is really nice and their indoor space is super cute as well. We had the grilled halloumi, beet salad and lamb platter *chef kiss*.
