I really don’t want to give this cafe 5 stars because I want to keep it to myself. But, the food, and everything that was brought to the table was prepared with quality and care. All breads are made in house. I had quinoa salad with morgues sausage. Just the right balance of spice, and a slice of avocado that brought out the sausage flavors. We had babaganoush that was so silky, it could have been labne-delicious! Top with a nice bottle of Nat Orange wine from Chile, best way to have a Friday lunch!

Great brunch and dinner spot! Usually not crowded and I just love the entire vibe especially in the summer!

This place is stunning, delicious and one of a kind. I used to live in Williamsburg and fell in love with the brunch a king time ago.Every detail is prefect. We had the kale salad, quinoa, and Tchoutchouka, cookies, and a perfect mint tea. This bottle of orange wine was outstanding. The store has amazing hand made candles, beautiful Moroccan rugs, jewelry and more.I truly think after 8 years in New York it was one of the best brunches I’ve ever had ☺️?. Thank you @simplecafe for the attention to detail and love you put in your service.

The most delicious food, lovely attentive service - gorgeous space and amazing vibes. Tagines, house made breads - the almond cookies! Great espresso. Be sure to check out the store in the front as well with beautiful handmade art work, the best smelling candles. We could have stayed here all day!

The perfect brunch spot. Cozy interior and heavenly food! Our server was attentive, kind, and helpful. The owner came by to check in on us and chat - she is absolutely radiant. Would give it more stars if I could.

Initially ordered the tchoutchouka and then we asked to change it to the french toast, but our server insisted we get the tchoutchouka since it’s so popular. We didn’t enjoy the dish and let our server know, but we were still charged for it (we had only taken a few bites). Inattentive service generally as well. Pancakes were good though :’)

Their brunch is one of the best in the neighborhood! Dreaming of their pancakes and shakshuka with lamb. And their homemade bread is absolutely delicious!

Simple is delicious! Period.• Food is clean, flavorful and done well!(as in the right balance of ingredients) the way you’re supposed to taste food.• Owner is great and super accommodating.• Ambience is simple and relaxed.• Homemade bread (hello?)• Homeware store attached with authentic merchandise made by women collectives• Curated French wines by the glass(a great Rhône blend)We’ve been going regularly for over a year now and it’s one of our favorite places in Williamsburg especially taking guests visiting from out of town. A true gem!It is no surprise this place has been around for over 16 years.Go for brunch, lunch or dinner(we’ve had it all). It’s that simple! ;)

Love this place! As an Algerian it’s so amazing to have a restaurant with authentic Algerian cuisine. Sami is amazing and always taking care of her customers. On top of the food being great, the simple store has such cute authentic Moroccan/Algerian things for purchase. Highly recommend
