Bibimbap with chicken and mild spicy sauce was delicious…“you seem like you’re struggling, do you want me to mix it for you”.I think her name was Elena (Bartender) LOLAmazing & friendly staff and delicious food.
great food, service is very friendly, came here on a friday night for a mutual friend’s dj set and it got busy! anticipate lots of people on weekend nights, it’s a small spot and can get crowded.
Closer to 3.5 stars. I really wanted to love this place! The atmosphere is very nice , cool, relaxed, come have a great time vibe. They lost points:I walked in, no hostess stand or greeting. Cool cool, I’m not going crazy I stand in the front for a minute, but still no acknowledgement. I walk a few steps to the bar and kindly ask if it’s seat yourself or assigned seating. The waitress/ bartender told me she’ll seat me in a moment (she was attending to other clients). I wait and wait and wait, there’s another person behind the bar this whole time. He leaves behind the bar for a few minutes, comes back, sees I’mstill waiting and tells me to just sit anywhere at one of the 2 tops That was annoying, the woman was apologetic about wait and communication. So half a star lost.I got the shishito peppers and hot pot bibimbap with tofu. Shishito peppers were super flavorful, a little spicy, and a good serving amount. The bibimbap was just okay, it lacked flavor, and was just pretty bland overall. They cut the tofu into tiny pieces and I can get why, but just wasn’t my personal preference.I had the lavender sky. It was good
The food here is the best korean food I've ever had. Simply outstanding.
Lovely & cozy place! Amazing food and drinks. Great staff and friendly service.Pretty awesome karaoke ?
Perfect for Birthday Parties with large or small groups! Celebrated here with about 10-12 people and the space was perfect~ Mr.Joon (the owner) is a gem and runs this place with some awesome staff (shout-out to Helena and Louis) Made my birthday legendary. Did I mention the Karaoke they have going on ? The food was fantastic ? So tasty and fresh! The drinks were phenomenal and the overall service was just out of this world. Thank you guys so much for an amazing birthday and may your business stay blessed ??? P.S. - No food pics because we ate everything so fast, yes. It was that good?
Delicious Korean and Fusion restaurant and bar right off the Marcy Ave spot open for brunch/lunch/dinner. The caramelized shishito and truffle fries are permanently implanted in my brain.
Sloooooowest restaurant on the block, food is simple. If you want to order for pick up do it at least 1 hour in advanced
Pretty good spot that feels more like a fusion. Good flavors but nothing to die for. They seem to be fans of truffle oil that was sprinkled on both asparagus and kalbi. Speaking or kalbi, it wasn’t what you’d usually expect in kbbq (cut across the bone) or in kalbi jjim (braised) but what felt like a large bone baked then stripped off of meat and carefully plated with some condiments. The meat was good but it should have been hotter. Bulgogi had decent flavors but the meat was way too thick; I expect bulgogi to be paper thin, more like hotpot beef as that’s what you’d usually get in any spot in k town. No complains about the drinks but the service was a bit slow.
The Fire jjambong is my girlfriend and I’s favorite soup in the city, we normally come here once every other month or so for that and the amazing cocktails they have! Last night we ordered our usual but they had multiple parties going on in the back room and our order got lost, when we asked about it the manager was very quick to rectify it and had the soup out to us in 15 mins or so on top of giving us a free bottle of soju. Great service great food and some of my favorite cocktails! I’m always recommending this place to everyone!
