So my family and I have had Albanian food before at Arberia and it was delicious. We wanted to try a new place and support other small businesses so we decided to order from Si n'shpi. Plus this restaurant has been talked about a lot so we wanted to see what the hype was all about. And that's exactly what it is, all hype. This place is overrated and does not deliver. The food came cold and hardly anything was edible. The lettuce in the hamburger was old and practically black which was very off putting so we had to throw it away. The meat was under seasoned, as was the salad. The salad had no salt, no pepper, no vinegar, no oil just shredded lettuce. This is an embarrassment to Albanian cuisine. The pizza was burnt and the cheese tasted off. Extremely poor quality. Do yourself a favor and save your money and order from Arberia. Their food always comes piping hot and is absolutely flavorful. Will not be ordering from here again, nor will we be recommending this to our friends.

I recently spent an afternoon in NYC for a 30th birthday eating extravaganza with close (Albanian) friend and 10 others. We ended up at 3 separate Albanian restaurants sampling all of the traditional cuisine. Having spent a month in Korce Albania with my friend back in 2010 I developed a deep love for the traditional dishes of the area. This restaurant was by far the most authentic to what I had tried when visiting the country. Everything was extremely fresh, delicious and affordable. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. If you are in the area this place is a must!

Tasty food, friendly staff and nice environment!Would recommend especially for European people that like meat and their products a lot. My favorite food in this restaurant is “Speca n’gjym”, “Fli” and “Ribs Steaks”. We had a lunch with family and friends and they enjoyed it.

My family had no clue there's a growing Albanian community in this neighborhood. There were other Albanian restaurant but we chose to dine here as it seemed to be a busier restaurant. There were plenty of outdoor/covered dining tables but we decided to head indoor as it was quite packed when we're there. The restaurant do have nice decor for both dining areas.Food: Tasty food with appropriate amount of seasoning. The spices used were mild IMO as it let the meat dishes flavor to shine by itself. The mixed meat platter was pretty good.Service: The staff were welcoming, friendly and helped us order as we're unfamiliar with Albanian food. However, they're not too attentive with refilling empty water bottle and discarded our leftover complimentary bread which we had requested to pack together with our half eaten beef prosciutto pizza.Ambience: Outdoor seating area is modern and have a festive vibe. Indoor is bright, elegant with classic European designs.Overall: Will definitely come back if I'm in the neighborhood or have out of town guests who are adventurous. Prices are reasonable too. So please go support small businesses like this.
