The food at Shalom Japan was spectacular! Everything we ate was phenomenally good and the service was outstanding. We particularly enjoyed the Matzoh Ramen, the Lox Bowl, and the Okonamiaki (not sure if Iâm spelling that correctly, but it was delicious!) We shared everything, so the staff staggered the dishes to make sure that we all got a chance to eat each thing together and in order, which I thought was really awesomeâlike a mini tasting menu! Drinks were also good, and the total tab came out under $150 for our party of 3, which I thought was an excellent deal. Highly recommended, and canât wait to go back!!!
The friendliest staff, the most fun menu. Still thinking about the egg and the okonomiyaki. Matcha lovers: Save room for the matcha parfait for dessert!
Very good food, service was great, food takes a while to come out so if you dine alone, bring a book.
Amazing place. Special shoutout to Aaron our server, who was so friendly, helpful, and fun to be around. Will be back again!
Great experience. Lots of flies on the lights however.
Amazing concept done really with super friendly servers
Food was excellent, wait staff was super friendly!
A reliably great restaurant. I've been coming here for years and the quality is undiminished. Service is fine, ambience is OK, but what you come for is the food wonderfully inventive food. Combinations that one wouldn't expect turn out to be delicious meldings of intense, familiar flavors. You could bring your mom, your boss, or your date and walk away a winner.
It's was great! It's better to make a reservation than showing up for dinner. The food was as good as people are raving about. The "Duck Wings" might be the best duck I ever had. The "Sweet and Sawa" is a classic whiskey sour done right. A great end to my Father's Day. I will make another trip to Shalom Japan before the end of the summer.
Do yourself a favor- go here ! From step one- the warm and cozy atmosphere, to amazing and so well balanced drinks And the cream de la cream- the food! If you ever wanted to experience umami nirvana - go for it. Please splurge on the fois gras dumpling- it tastes like heaven. This is a masterpiece!
