Saw this on Google Maps while I was on the train. Immediately knew I had to get off and try this place. SO happy I stopped in! Was already full from lunch, but got some vegan bacon to take with me. They were very helpful in describing the different seitans they had so I could make my selection.Currently trying to figure out how I can fit another trip here into my schedule. 11/10 recommend.

The BEC Sandwich was quite tasty. The shame about this place is there is nowhere to sit while enjoying one's order.

Amazing vegan spot in Brooklyn. Eating the muffy hero on the sidewalk reminded me of my childhood. The bread, meat, and sauce were out of this world. Excited to try the baked goods I brought home! Friendly staff and incredibly safe with covid protocol!

Delicious sandwiches but long wait!Passed by this place for the first time in the middle of my work day. They weren’t even busy but the wait time was really long for two sandwiches. The sandwiches were amazing. I got the knuckle sandwich and the 3 meat one? The old bay potato salad is sooo good! Great food just beware of the wait. Maybe next time I’ll call ahead.

Liked the food here so much that I came here two weekends in a row. Great vegan deli sandwiches. Pastries are also excellent. Really loved the Old Bay potato salad. Perfect place to grab some food to bring to a picnic.

BEC is amazing, and super affordable. I had the focaccia and it was really good! Come to Philly!!!!!

Absolutely delicious vegan pastries and sandwiches! The vegan croissant was delicious and so fluffy. I really want their recipe for getting that perfect rise. I also got a Hammy sandwich, which is a tofu scramble with seitan and it was delightful and delicious. It felt like such a luxury to eat.On the day we went, they sold out by 2:30pm on a Thursday. So if you’re making a trip here then be sure to plan for it accordingly and have a backup if needed! It might’ve been because they just came back from a break and so demand surged but we we’re definitely surprised to be getting the last croissant so early in the afternoon.

Had a Father’s Day early and got the triple threat (?) and the knuckle sandwich! Had a cinnamon bun as well and it was absolutely delicious! Really great work for the employees both running and making the food.

It was ok. I got a sandwich whose name I can't remember, the charred bread was delicious, but the dressing was way to sweet & the whole sandwich too salty, I had two bottles of water afterwards. Also, it's not cheap ($9 base + tip + tax) & there's no seating, I'm not from the area so I sat in the Maria Hernandez park where the sauce got all over my hands & face and they included just one meager napkin, luckily, the park bathrooms were open so I could wash up. It's been hard for me to find good, affordable vegan restaurants in NYC, I feel like places like New Orleans and Savannah, GA do a way better job in that regard, so giving this place four stars for this area.

Really impressive selection of pastries, all of them looked delicious. I got a section of the cherry frosted layer cake with sprinkles, the miso chocolate chip cookie, the Hammy, and the Wicked Which. The food was affordable and good, but the pastries really shined.Savories:The hammy was tasty and served hot unlike the wicked which. The hammy definitely would have been more satisfying with Just Egg rather than the tofu, but that would no doubt jack the price up a few bucks at least, so I appreciate a place that has affordably priced vegan sandwhiches, which is uncommon. The wicked which was unique with that bean spread. Tasty sandwich too.Sweets:The Miso chocolate chip cookie was the star of the show. Great texture and taste. Don't be fooled by the miso, you'd never know it was in there, and apparently it adds a butteryness. Do yourself a favor and have a cold glass of plant milk with this puppy, you won't be disappointed (I had Silk's unsweet soy). I was stuffed by the time I got to the cherry sprinkly layer cake so I wasn't mind-blown, but it was definitely good and plenty moist. More cherries would be my only note.Breakfast items served all day. Cool interior too. 100% vegan place.
