Eating at the picnic tables outside was just the way to go on that beautiful day. It was nice to be able to take advantage of the happy hour reduced drink prices because the frozen painkillers were delicious. The food was beautifully presented, nicely proportioned and spiced just right. I highly recommend the cauliflower and wings appetizers. The basket of jumbo shrimp and perfect thin crispy fries would have been enough for two but we had to try the halibut as well. Couldn’t eat every last morsel but would have liked to. I like that the chef was able to substitute asparagus for cilantro flavored rice in that dish. Sea Wolf is a definite keeper. It’s worth the trip out of my own neighborhood. Bushwick has nice street art, so you can walk off some of the over consumption with delight. We also enjoyed a performance at Company Xiv . We will come back for another delightful date in the near future.

I visited on a hot Tuesday and the place was packed, service is not the best and you’ll definitely have to wait a bit for your drinks and food but the food was absolutely delicious. There’s a lot of options for seating inside/ outside…happy hour is for food only, but the drinks were great too so no complaints.

Service was great. Front desk and our waiter were very knowledgeable and kind.Drinks…it was during happy hour so we couldn’t order regular sized versions of drinks we wanted. The happy hour drink sizes were small and nothing crazy when it came to flavor. I ordered a regular sized mock tail called port side car and for $9, it was ridiculously tiny. I honestly expected more.As for food, the lobster Mac & cheese was pricy but had a lot of lobster in it and was really cheesy, a little too much cheese for my liking but the cheese wasn’t chewy or salty, it had a fresh taste. The spicy shrimp basket was pretty good but the shrimps were a bit too salty, well seasoned but just too much sodium. It came with addictive show string fries and chipotle mayo which was honestly the star of the show. I also had the clam chowder which was soooo good but soooo small. It had potatoes, carrots, and a healthy amount of clam in it. It came in a small bowl which measured up to about 1 cup which was surprising being that the menu indicated it’d come in a bread bowl. That was very misleading. The clam chowder was great but for $16…it’s overpriced.Overall, the bill for 2 came up to $110.

Terrible service. 45 minute wait for a hamburger. 2 others served at my table and were done eating by the time my order arrived.

Oyster HH and drinks

Had a great brunch at this local spot in Bushwig. Highly recommend all of it wasters. It had our server presented us with their favorites for the day and we were not disappointed. Also had the half lobster which was absolutely fantastic. Definitely love their double painkiller although it more than I thought I’m so happy I ended up getting it!

Seldom do I get the "WHO MADE THIS" reaction but I genuinely want to know who made my lobster Benedict. Also-- the spicy fried fish and old bay fries and raw oysters were amazing. Will be back next time I'm here.Update: Anything shrimp related is very good, prefer the spicy fried shrimp. The mussels were a pleasant surprise, as well.

Decent spot for happy hour.

First time dining at Sea Wolf, and I will definitely go back! The oysters were superb, and my salmon was excellent. The salmon came out piping hot with crispy skin, served over several asparagus spears. And our waiter, Brandon, was amazing. Extremely busy with many tables to tend to, but he was always helpful, friendly and on top of things!

The fish in chips did not taste like fresh cod.. The spicy Shrimp was not spicy and you could taste that it was frozen previously, not fresh.. Everything else was ok. For seafood lovers we know fresh from frozen.
