Authentic German cuisine and beer, great simple ambient and live music! If you want to spend a lively time with your family or friends and don't want to break the bank, its a right place to come. But be prepared for a difficulty to find a street parking ;) I am sorry, we were hungry so by the time I realized to take photos we almost ate it all and it was tasty ?
Too much waiting for a simple fish. They have a sign only accepting cash. The place is small for a lowder band. I really didn't enjoy. Maybe drinks are better
So very Yummy and large portions. POTATOES WERE THE BEST!!!!
Really great, authentic German food. Reasonably priced with super-friendly service. They had karaoke on the weekend when I went, which was awesome too.
Had dinner last night and enjoyed some karaoke. Great beers on tap and good schnitzel. Huge portions!!
This place was great! My wife never had German food and it had been a long time for me. We definitely ate too much but it was worth it. Next time I'll uber so I can try more of the beer selection too.
Very delicious place! Good service! Heated atmosphere! Recommend this restaurant!!!
Very friendly staff make it a great experience, food is delicious and drinks and beer are solid. They have live music on weekends
This place provides awesome service as well as delicious meals. My favourite spot around town. The meals came out rapidly and the prices are reasonable. I recommend this place.
Old school German restaurant in Bay Ridge. Definitely has its crowd of regulars. Came on a Friday night for dinner and they had live music which was a nice treat. The service was extremely slow but we weren't in a rush. We ordered the steak salad and a Bavarian pretzel to start. We didn't realize that our entrees came with salad so next time I'd skip the steak salad. The steak wasn't as tender as I had hoped it would be. The pretzel was warm and salty, but salty in the way you want a warm pretzel to be, it was delicious. I especially enjoyed the grainy mustard. I ordered the rahmschnitzel with mushroom cream sauce and it was rich and tasty. My husband ordered the wienerschnitzel with french fries instead of spaetzle. They brought him spaetzle anyway. His veal cutlets were just that, plain, fried veal cutlets. They could have used a sauce aside from the lemon wedges they came with. The spaetzle was unfortunately bland but the fries mostly made up for that. We also had a couple wheat beers and lagers. Next time I come, I'd like to try some wursts. Overall, it was a good meal with live entertainment.
