Such a cool wine bar in Brooklyn! It’s not pretentious as other NY places…There is no wine list, so the server brings the bottle he thinks go with your preferences after a brief interview of what you like.The food could be better, but the vibe of the place earned the 5 stars.
I know people come for the affordable, good wine, and the chill, friendly vibes, but nobody tells you how good the bar food is. That Grilled Cheese is mouthwatering, gooey, crunchy deliciousness. Unbelievable. And I know nothing about wine, so I heavily rely on the staff to decipher what I want based on my vague descriptors of what I think I want to be tasting in my wine and let me tell you, they knew exactly how to please my less than sophisticated palette. And definitely sit outside if you can! Feels like home :)
I love this neighborhood spot. I've been getting into natural wines recently and always appreciate recommendations, so their structure of asking what type of wine you're in the mood for and then letting you have a taste/bringing a whole bottle or glass of what you end up liking is welcome :) Their music is always vibey and the place is adorable. The back patio is dreamy!! We were hungry when we went so we got the entire menu of elevated bar food, which is displayed on a chalk board inside the bar...whoever is baking that bread is masterful. As an added bonus, the crowd at the bar whenever I've gone is laid back and pleasant...I've never encountered obnoxious drunk people here like you might at other bars in Williamsburg. This bar is an easy go-to for me and my friends!
Very poor service. We waited far too long for someone to come to us, and the waiter promised to bring us water but never did until we asked (took him more than 30 min). He didn't even realize it and never apologized. Then we ordered food that didn't arrive for about an hour. When I came inside to check on it, I realized that the waiter had never put the order. He had also forgotten what wine we had ordered and brought us the wrong bottle. All of this was done with the impression that we owed him something, as if it was difficult for him to come out and even serve us with the basics until I called him out. This place would have been perfect, but please improve your service. I've never been treated like that in NYC, remarkably bad experience.
Almost 50 bucks for 2 glasses of wine! No menu! Just to let you know You said there was a grilled cheese, but we never ordered it. We just took 2 glasses of wine
This is a nice wine bar with some private rooms and a backyard. Large wine selection and good snacks. A good date spot. I had an unpleasant experience with one of the staff members but ownership deserves more than 5 stars. Before you leave anything less than 5 star, talk to the management/ownership.

Lovely place for natural wines, music and great customer service. We had a reservation for 6 for a table that provided privacy for our guests but the restaurant was kind enough to accommodate us for 10 people last minute. Food is mainly bar type food but good. Great selections of wine and friendly staff and happy patrons.

Fantastic selection of wines with a knowledgable and friendly staff. Great atmosphere, feels very Euro/Scandinavian. Too cold for the backyard but I can see it being a great place to get a lot of friends together in the summer.
