I was withy little 2 daughters at saraghina. We spotted 3 baby mice nesting outside the store. We immediately reported it to the employees. They did not care nor did anything about. 1 minute later one mouse was inside the bakery.I have expected for them to do something about it. Call a the manager. Remove the mice that were not moving very much. Instead they did nothing. When I left they went back to the store so I took the picture. After all they are in the food Business. So disappointing.
Had the craziest iced matcha latte of my life here today. I think there was one drop of matcha in an entire cup of oat milk. Looked like I was walking around Bed Stuy drinking a cup of milk tbh, not even a pale green, just white. Also it was lukewarm! Don't really understand what happened, but maybe it's because matcha isn't in the purview of an Italian-inspired bakery. Love their croissants though. Next time I'll get coffee.
Used to love going here but they've dropped all COVID protections despite NYC being in a surge, no masks on anyone, no capacity limits, maybe an open door on a good day. Sucks for anyone high risk or who cares about high risk folks.
I go here all the time and absolutely love this bakery. Almond croissant all day every day. Sometimes they don't stuff it as much with the delicious almond paste as other days, probably depends on who the baker is. But most of the time this croissant is the stuff made of dreams.I've only bought the bread a few times but each time the crust was so thick and satisfying, with a doughy and soft middle that practically melts in your mouth. So good
You can't go wrong with any pastry purchase at this neighborhood institution. My favorites are the focaccia (which we discovered is vegan!) and the best croissants in Brooklyn! Friendly and helpful staff, good coffee, excellent loaves of bread. They run out of stuff quickly on the weekends so make sure you go early!
Great little piece of Italy. I picked up an olive loaf for my mother, she fell in love! I bought 2 almond croissants with the intention of sharing with my partner... He ate both! ??♀️ I'll assume they were great. I'm looking forward to next time Saraghina...
Yeah it’s delicious, but Italians should pay employees what they deserve instead of charging $2 tip for a $5 croissant to go. I know it’s suggested but common!
Following earlier reviews we found this Bed-Stuy gem which we will tell folks back home in Germany about. Atmosphere absolutely relaxed and kitchen offers everything for a cool, colorful NY art crowd. Highly recommended!
My 10 yr old enjoyed the ham and cheese croissant. Almond croissant was perfection!
Delicious croissants. And I'm super picky about my croissants. The perfect flakiness & softness on the inside, beautiful crisp on the outside. Looking forward to trying more here!
