The tonbara shio ramen was very flavorful! Its the closest menu item to my control group for assessing ramen. I ate all of my broth ? Very generous with noodles, I usually finish noodles easily but I ended up having to pack some with me to go. Friendly staff, really happy to have this spot in the neighborhood.

I am a Bedstuy resident and walk past this place everyday on my way home. So I finally decided to give this place a try and sadly didn’t live up to my expectations. I ordered ramen and the noodles were a bit cold. The food wasn’t bad it was just ok.
Things have change in this place. Soup base was better... Although I was here many years ago.
Lovely ambiance, great chicken karaage, phenomenal Dan-dan. The shio ramen was subtle but nice, i wish it was a bit richer but who am I to say? Great pork bun meat but the bao was tough and chewy, which was quite surprising. It'd probably be better next time, seemed like an anomaly because everything else was very well done.
Can't wait to go back! We ate in a heated outdoor dining pod for 2 -- such a great COVID/winter solution. Even though we were the only ones out there the server never forgot about us & we had great service. Everything was great but the shrimp shumai were next level.
The Ramen is very good, however the space and ambience is very uncomfortable and cold.I wish they would re-design the space so the dinning experience would feel cozier, because there’s nothing like a good ramen in a warm, comfortable ambience.
We've ordered delivery of vegetarian food from this restaurant and were happy with what we had. Both vegan ramens were great. The darker one is thick and yummy and the best of the two. rice with curry was quite unique, as the curry tastes nothing like an indian or thai curry, but more like a mild mushroom gravy with hints of anise and cloves. we were not in love with the gyozas, at least not as a delivery option. they were soggy and mushy. Please fix your deliver fee - it's annoying to pay 7$ is a little considering that food is sent with doordash, but samurai papa is not available with the same menu on the doordash website.
This place never disappoints. The menu is diverse, good sake, and options for vegetarians and vegans too. Seating is limited, so I always try to go on the earlier side of the evening to avoid a wait.
The Ramen is good and the staff are pretty nice. Price is fair and music excellent.
