I love their food. They serve more rice and meat than veggies. And their basmati rice is not bland but nicely seasoned. I have heart burn issues so the meat was not too spicey for me. It was perfect. And Last but not least I got my food in 18 min.I've even ordered food to take home after work For my family.I will alway order from them if you like the halal.Oh the lamb is amazing ?
I don’t eat meat but my friend told me to just take one bite of her gyro with sauce, lettuce, and pita. I accidentally got a bite of lamb and it was an explosion of flavor (hate the taste of meat) Best halal food in nyc. You walk by and smell hits you. Genuinely such nice people work here!

PLEASE DONT , I drove up to this guy yesterday and ordered and seen behind the cart he had NO gloves on and was touching my lettuce with his bare hands and put it on the plate. I ended up driving off without word. Go to Halal Stop down the block
The best halal in Brooklyn! Easily! Whether you come day or night, they always make it right! Full of flavor and super fresh I get at least 3 gyros every time! Sammy’s always tastes clean and not greasy. Really worth a trip for their halal food!
I use to live in Jackson heights and get Sammy’s all the time. Now that I moved to Williamsburg, I’m happy to see another Sammy’s just a few min away. Love the food!!!
I was delivering for Uber EATS someone ordered a sandwich going from Williamsburg to Crown Height so I thought it must be good the next day I came back and had one and found it to be very good.
DO NOT GO HERE. you will get food poisoning. my friend and I went ordered combos here last night, he shoved (what we thought was fully cooked meat already) directly on to the trays without putting it on the grill. well it must have not been fully cooked because the both of us were separately up all night with food poisoning. save yourself the trouble.
I came here looking for a halal spot on google. Was a bit skeptical with the reviews but wow the food is amazing. The chicken over rice is spiced so nicely never had anything like this anywhere else. Glad I came, will be my go to spot.
