The food was incredible. Basically every dish we ordered was amazing . Service was top. This is the perfect place to go with friends for a high quality steak meal- Japanese style.

This place is nothing short of amazing! The drinks, food and service are superb! It’s a little pricey so be ready to bring out your coins. But worth every cent. Definitely will be back.

This place is spectacular! The service is spectacular. The food is spectacular. The drinks are, well you get what I'm trying to say. This excellent Japanese restaurant is as great as I had been hearing. The entire staff was so friendly and attentive. All the little details were on point. The salmon roll was possibly the best sushi roll I have ever eaten period full stop. Then it just gets better from there! The Wagyu Truffle roll truly blew my mind. The steak and potatoes and broccoli were incredible and filling. It's nice to go to an expensive restaurant that actually fills you up! Definitely looking forward to coming back soon. Enjoy

The food qualitatively speaking was so so. The porterhouse for 2 was fatty and not the choicest cut. The salad wedge was tasty. The salmon sushi roll did not taste the freshest to me especially for $18. The green tea matcha cake with vanilla ice cream was the best of everything served along with the green tea. Only 3 desserts on the menu. The matcha got cloying by the 3rd bite. Hip Williamsburg vibe. No one over 40 here. All getting a kick start to cardio vascular disease. Service was attentive but nothing special. Nice big square ice cube in my Manhattan cocktail, which helped my drink taste good. All this mediocrity doesn't come cheap. About $300 with everything. Add the Uber home. Big bucks. Last point. It has taken my body about 1 week to detox and fully digest this meal, so between the massive lump in your stomach and the fat in your arteries I wouldn't run home and make love after this.

Food was amazing. Make reservations if you want to dine indoors! Tried to walk in around 7PM for a party of 3 on Friday and unfortunately had to sit outside, which was very cold. The waitress was also very accommodating and got us blankets to keep us warm.

Walked-in on a Sunday afternoon for early dinner. I think we were the first customers as they open at 5pm.Service was nice and friendly, the food was very good, my favourite was the Wagyu roll. We had a bottle of warm sake, which it was flavourful.I had a great time, food was good but I felt something was missing.Anyhow, I would recommend this place for sure!

I had the honor of watching the chef meticulously cut and prepare the meat right in before our eyes. He explained the different cuts and what part of the animal it was coming from. Rather educational actually. They only use a charcoal over, which really makes all the difference in the flavors. The juiciness is captured to perfection. We tried a variety of appetizers - Crab cakes, Fries, Miso soup, Salad, and the edamame was incredible! Seriously the edamame was so good, packed with flavor each and every little bit. That sauce the crab cakes were placed upon was really tasty. Now the steak was just.. :: takes a moment of appreciation:: absolutely INSANE! JUCIY and tender and seasoned to perfection. I could sing praise for this place. Totally a must try!

Make reservation and try this place out!!!Highly recommended as this is our yearly Thanksgiving dinner place to go! The staff are very friendly and the vibes are great.-Their Uni Wagyu Roll is a must to try and we started that as appetizer follow with- Crunchy Oyster w/ butter soy garlic sauce.- Wagyu Truffle Roll is amazing.- UNI FILET MIGNON STEAK (A must to try) served over a bed of steamed watercress and topped w/ IKURA and a bed of UNI over. Grilled to perfection as we requested for medium rare.Never say no to their dessert! We end our dinner with their homemade moist match cake pair with their black sesame gelato!Shout out to the Chefs and the staff for another amazing Thanksgiving Dinner 2021. Thank you.

Went here on a date, my partner was super excited about this place. We ended up sitting at the bar to wait for a table. After idle chitchat, we were seated downstairs, and the immediate impression was that it's a decent restaurant. It is cozy, downstairs is intimate, the music not too loud. Good vibes all around.Until I sat down and took in more of the space. As we waited, I felt constantly distracted by conversations at other tables, appprently sound carries really well in this place. No matter! We ordered the fried eggplant and mushroom in broth, and the porter house [we came late so they were out of sea urchin].The starter plate come out first. It was decent, homely, and average. That set the mood down for me. I knew the porter house wasn't going to wow me.We chatted a bit about the day while our table was cleared for the main course. When it arrived the plating was messy, but the meat looked absolutely perfect. Maybe I shouldn't judge a place so quickly? I started to second guess myself...until I ate it.What could you taste? The outside, with all its perfection..if you can ignore the rubbery texture of the middle, which surprise! You really can't.Alone these slices were intolerable, the overall texture and the extreme disappointment for the chalked up quality was hard to get past. The only saving grace were the sauces that arrived with the dish. With both slathered on the cuts, the plate was gone in a few bites. It didn't make any sense. The marbling was nice, the meat cooked just right. The only reason it came out this way...has to be the quality of the aged porter house? I was so confused. I felt like I was missing something and was relieved to not have ordered their signature plates. I felt like I would have wasted more money for an underwhelming experience instead of a half decent meal. Honestly, if I came back, I'd probably just sit at the bar after eating somewhere else.Tldr: Overpriced for a home meal. For your own sake, skip the porter house unless sauced meat is your thing. It's a really nice place to wind down, because you're not rushed out.

Went here to eat an hour and fifteen minutes before a movie. Immediately ordered drinks. Took 20+ minutes to get them. Food took even longer to arrive. When we asked why the wait we were told "the fire was out". Strange we weren't made aware of this before a complaint. Restaurant looks cute and has nice vibes but it's service doesn't match the interior at all. Good thing there's plenty better restaurants in the area.
