Best deli in bayridge. Fully stocked organic grocery. Always fresh, late night deliveries, reliable service. Hot food platters made from scratch, never frozen. Clean and well organized. I order here every day. Cat food, litter, groceries, deli items, hot food, over the counter medicine, snacks, fruits and veggies,, aluminum pans. Everything! It's a 1 stop shop.
I would love to just put it here...these are brothers to me! They were so good to my late husband and their food and service is amazing!!! 5 stars is never enough they are amazing! Best Grocery/ Deli in Bay Ridge. How clean it is the number one thing you notice walking in. Overall though the owner and staff make everyone feel like family. Great stop to grab a few items on the way home from work. Right at the R line Bay Ridge Ave Stop.
Had the Chicken Shawarma (chicken over rice) today and it was flat out delicious. My only gripe is that I would have liked to see an housemade hot sauce customary in Chicken/Lamb Over Rice instead of Frank's Hot Sauce but I can't complain about anything else.Been coming here for several years and everything on the menu have been worthwile options at affordable prices (mostly under $10). Worth the visit for anyone near the area to try.
Stole my money. Dishonest people, over charge prices if you pay with credit or debit. Dont give them any buisness
I know this family for over 40 years, I even remember there Dad, and in the middle eastern culture I know for a fact the elders a very highly respected and it shows in how these 3 brothers run this neighborhood staple!Whether getting a delivery or picking up yourself the prepared food is second to none, and if by any chance something was not too your liken, we’ll all it takes is saying it and the situation will be addressed without questions asked.I believe there motto is that“pencils have erasers for a reason” and that saying, everyone makes mistakes, but it takes a big man to fess up and take ownership as easy as these boys do.Walking in the store initially and seeing the deli guys “WHO ALWAYS SAY HELLO” and then passing one of the 3 brothers who are ALWAYS working it just feels like a family place. Comfortable and at ease are lot even close to the the feeling one gets walking in here, and the owners work hard at having that feeling be felt. If you look for something an by chance they don’t have it, no matter what it is they will let you know it will be ordered and let you know when said stuff came in.With the way things have become in this world, and especially in the US, places like this are far and few and oh how we need them.Kudos to Sakman and the Family that owns this GEM of a store!
Sakman Deli & Grill is my go to deli. They have a large variety of drinks, hot and frozen food and a bunch of other things. Friendly and Respectful New York Ocks run the cash register and also whip up fresh sandwiches, platters, salads, drinks and whatever you can come up with. They'll even deliver to Staten Island. Half of the time when I go in the morning one of the staff members is always making fresh chicken and pasta and other things to put in the freezer near the grill, so the ingredients are made fresh here. There's many options for you to choose from. Sakman is definitely the best deli in Bay Ridge. I wouldn't choose them over any other one, at least not in Bay Ridge.
Not the same as before no one is wearing a mask especially employee working on food prep, grill not clean , and price keep going up and a lot of overcharge you feel like it's a car dealer. no one in Brooklyn charge you $10 for a philly steak sandwich without cheese. The sandwich doesn't worth $10 and you'll feel pain in your stomach all the night ? anyway in bay ridge area almost all hallal stores even grocery stores they're not professional and prices are overwhelming more expensive than trader joe's hallal but thieves .
They are very friendly and respectful staff. Good prices, and they do delivery.
