The staff were very accommodating as I was late for my brunch reservation (by over 30 minutes) due to weather-related delays.The vibe and food were great! I especially liked the crabcake and French toast. The unlimited mimosas/Bellini brunch special was good as well. One star removed due to limited staffing. There appeared to be only one or two servers handling all of the tables, which meant long wait times in between drinks.Although this place is a bit out of the way for me, I definitely plan to return- and hopefully on a less rainy day!
I’ve always loved this place but never sat at the bar. Today I walked in last minute with a friend visiting from Chicago and there was space at the bar.Choose the bar EVERY time if June is behind it. That man is a powerhouse - never stops moving and treats everyone with respect. June definitely impressed my friend so much that he wants wants to return when he comes for a guys trip with friends next time.Thanks to the whole team at Rustik Tavern!
I had an amazing time as usual. This place has been my favorite since they opened. It's always a good vibe, and everyone working there has an amazing vibe. The food is amazing!!! And the drinks are on point. I'm so glad they're open for business again... I've missed the energy.
I had a great time with my girls! Good music, good vibes and the waitress Michelle took great care of us!! When she found out it was my birthday she went the extra mile to make me feel extra special!
The ambiance and the food were excellent. Add their boozy brunch to that and it's all WINNERS! Great people, great food, great time had by everyone. 5☆s for sure!
As a Black man who wants to support, do not come here; the prices extremely high for cafeteria food. Depressing music and a non-Black staff…save your money for a better experience at another Black restaurant. Sorry folks. In the picture, it’s $24 for 1 drumstick on a bed of leaves and a side of Kraft Mac n cheese. They didn’t even have an orange slice for my blue moon. Honestly, I’m extremely disappointed; no Black excellence here.
The Vibe was good. I love the Kale Salad. I ordered the Salmon burger with sweet potato fries. The fries was delicious. Burger wasn’t seasoned well not much flavor. We ordered bottomless Bellini for two. Then they bought us an pitcher because the wait for our food was extra long that day it was a Sunday and they was closing early. I felt my bill was a bit over the top for salad for 2 and two orders of salmon burgers and fries $158 a bit much. Nevertheless, I would probably revisit to taste other food but examine my bill a bit more. I know I was tipsy. Overall I enjoyed myself and the kale salad and fries was delicious.
Had brunch there with a group of 8. We were a bit late to our res but the owner, thankfully, was kind enough to seat us. The food was delicious and so were the bellinis. Sadly, they had run out of 2 things I wanted but I guess that means they're popular there! Warm decor and delicious food. Had more items on the menu that I'd be interested in trying.
Rustik Tavern is a Brooklyn staple tucked away in the Clinton Hill neighborhood. Draped in a 70s suit with a hue from the 60s, this outfit is chic. The front of the property is welcoming with open arms and the food is spectacular. They have a beautiful terrace which we hope to test in the warmest months. The background music played at Sunday brunch was nostalgic. Overall, this is a great place to rekindle old friendships over bottomless cocktails or encourage new ones while eating their plant-based burgers. The jerk wings are crisp, piquant and spicy.
We came to Rustik Tavern to celebrate my daughter’s baptism at the beginning of this year. I called them before making the reservation to see if they would be able to accommodate my larger group and from the first interaction they were nothing but helpful. The service and food both exceeded our expectations. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and look forward to eating there again.
