Cannot say enough great things about Reyes. It is a weekly destination for us and a must anytime we have out of town visitors. The tacos are some of the best in the city, especially the fish tacos! The arroz con leche is a perfect treat, too.

Legit Mexican food to go. Excellent tacos, torta sandwiches, and more. They also sell their delicious (and spicy!) house made salsas to-go in small mason jars.

I'm here from Austin, and the search for a good, quick Mexican breakfast is often-frustrating. It's been a staple in my community, and finding a place that stacks up with all my old haunts back in Texas is exciting.Seems like griddled masa, fresh (homemade) salsa, and eggs with chiles should be in universal demand, to me. This bodega nailed the whole thing. Huaraches con huevos mexicanos was exactly it. All of it was exactly what I wanted, and can never get.Avoid the concession cart that slapped my hometown all over their branding for clout. This is what you want. No comparison, at all.

Ordered chicken and chorizo burritos. They both came with tortillas chips and was thick so it was more on the tough side to chew. The burritos were good but I thought the rice was a bit too mushy. Pretty good food portion for the price.

Hate to leave 2 stars to a local business I always wanted to support but both times I’ve ordered food here it was not good. I prefer Tenampa Deli on 22nd street. I’ve only had the chicken tinga tacos and a breakfast burrito and both times the sauces had a weird after taste- I really wanted to like this place but I’m not into the food. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing?

Get the carnitas tacos. Excellent!!! Also tried the tamales which is served only on weekends and they were great as well.

I haven't been able to find a decent place to buy Mexican ingredients in the area, so I was excited to discover Reyes Grocery. Unfortunately, I was pretty disappointed. For a supposed Mexican grocery, they have very few Mexican ingredients. I bought some blue corn tortillas, but when I got home I noticed that they were just white tortillas with blue dye.

Amazing chicken noodle soup. Ate it standing in the middle of the sidewalk. Hit the spot!

I haven't found better al pastor tacos in Brooklyn. You must ask for the two hot sauces with your order—they elevate the whole meal. This is a neighborhood, family-run bodega so don't expect anything fancy. However, if you're looking for the best take out/delivery tacos in South Slope, Park Slope, or Greenwood, you need to make your way here. Note: The kitchen closes early on Sundays.

Super delicious food (love the burritos) and amazing family staff!
