We had the fermented tea leaf salad, cold tamarind noodles, lemongrass fish noodle soup and coconut tapioca. Everything was so fresh and delicious, we’re kicking ourselves we didn’t come sooner. The staff were so sweet and friendly and the kitchen was quick. 5/5

A quiet place with great staff discovered after a trip to the Botanical Gardens. The Lemongrass Fish Noodle Soup portion was large and a little on the richer side.Definitely recommend the watercress salad with a side of chili-garlic shrimp relish ?(We were too hungry to click pictures before and then... just like that the food was gone =D)

Yummy but nothing spectacular.

Great service and the best place to get Burmese food in Brooklyn! Always delicious!

Who would've thought I would develop such an obsession with Burmese food? Can't wait to go back!

The food was really bland honestly. I’ve had a lot of great Burmese food but this is not it

Rangoon has a beautiful decoration and outside garden. The burmese food is very good overall. The lemongrass fish soup felt a little salt-less for my taste, but overall very good flavors, especially in the onion fritters.

Been wanting to try this place for a while since I live in the neighborhood and walk by frequently. The exterior is beautiful and unique. We swung by around 7pm for an impromptu dinner and the only inside seats left were at the counter so we opted to sit outside. The outdoor seating is completely covered from the elements. There are heaters inside too. It’d be pleasant to outdoor dine in any weather. What we ordered:Tea leaf salad - cabbage heavy. Good amount of Thai bird chilies sprinkled throughout for good heat. Vinegary in flavor. I wish there was more tea leaf for an earthier flavor.Lemongrass fish noodle soup - thick soup, heavy in lemongrass flavor. Thin clear noodles. No noticeable fish pieces. Topped with an onion fritters and a medium boiled egg.Coconut chicken noodle soup - strong chicken broth flavor, thick soup. Flat egg noodles. Topped with raw onions, a fritter, and medium boiled eggs. Pieces of chicken in the soup.We were hoping both the noodles would be stronger in flavor. Both were pretty mild and felt a bit one note to us. Perhaps we have heavy palates though I thought the tea leaf salad was complex in its own way.Cocktails - delicious!3/5 stars because I enjoyed the location, the decor, space, and the cocktails. Food was serviceable but wasn’t too interesting. Service was fine but not particularly inviting.

Food was not balanced - the tea leaf salad was too sour, the mohinga was also sour as was the khao swe! The curry chicken was the closest to authentic but was still bland and lacking some heat. As someone else mentioned, the small ice cream scoop portion of rice was a bit laughable and the coconut rice, had zero coconut taste to it. After travelling so far for Burmese food, this was not comparable to anything my family makes nor anything in Rangoon.

Sehr leckeres Essen & super Bedienung. Die Plätze draußen im Hinterhof sind wunderbar. Danke für den schönen Abend!
