you know a place is good when you see aunties and the young folks all hanging out at 10pm on a tuesday. great chai, coffee, service and vibe.

Found this Yemen style coffee house by chance and absolutely loved it! The place just had great vibes and the smell of the spice permeated the store in a very nice way! First time having a Yemeni latte, and it basically feels like a nice in between of a regular latte and chai. The spice (guessing cardamom and others) somehow reminded me of a coffee shop in Michigan? Next time I want to go back and try their tea in pots and also some of the pastries! Can’t wait!

Take a sip into the origins of coffee at Qahwah. Walking in feels like a magical journey of exploration of coffee at its most ancient roots. Hints of cardamom and nutmeg lacing through the coffee aroma. Their teas infused with various herbs make it a delight if it’s own. Add in one of the Yemeni pastries for a heavenly combination. If you have time, sit at the coffee bar and experiment with different flavors made to order and your preference.

Great coffee…very nice servers and yummy treats! We drive from Long Island to get coffee here on the weekends

Amazing hang out spot. The coffee and dessert was delicious. The barista overhead is talking about how good the iced latte looked so they gave us one on the house. 10/10 experience

Loved the tea and pastries here! I ordered the adeni chai and the Khaliat Alnahl and they both complimented each other perfectly. My friend and I came on a Sunday afternoon and it was extremely packed. However after waiting 10 minutes, we were able to find two seats by the window. It was a great way to spend a few hours chatting. I recommend visiting when you have time in your schedule because you'll want to enjoy this space and experience for as long as you can!

Get the chocolate peanut butter cake and adeni chai!

This is a nice hangout place after dinner. The bread with the cheese and honey on top was my favorite. Not overly sweet.I would skip the chocolate and lemon cake. It was too dense and tasted like it was made from the box. This place is PACKED on weekend nights, but personally I didn’t mind because I ran into an old friend!

? Qahwah House162 Bedford Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11211Laid-back hangout with sidewalk seating specializing in organic coffee grown in Yemen.?Yemeni Latte (iced )Review:⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️(5 out of 5 Stars)It was really busy. I would definitely come back, hangout with friends here, and try their pastries. The coffee shop has a nice vibe. Everyone looks like they’re having fun and enjoying themselves. They even have outdoor seating. As always don’t forget to say Bismillah and Alhamdulilah for everything ❤️

This is by far the BEST coffee in NYC!! The Yemeni options are definitely worth trying, but a regular cup of Joe is far from ordinary! Have some unique pastries and sit down and savor!
