Pizza Moto is my favorite pizza in New York! The restaurant is a hole in the wall, located beneath the BQE, wedged between Carroll Gardens and Red Hook. But once you step inside, its warm and inviting. The staff is so friendly and the dishes are so inventive and tasty. My personal favorite is the smoked trout cesaer salad and the "Vermonter" (cheese pizza with virignia ham, syrup (or hot honey?), chili flakes, sage). Also don't sleep on the dark chocolate olive oil cake—best I've ever had!! They also always have a great selection of wine and beer on tap. Although we live equidistant to establishments like Lucali and F&F, I always find myself heading over to Pizza Moto.
Super great pizza that is coal fired made. One pizza was good to share with 2 people, especially if you want to leave room for extras like sides and dessert. We had the Jerzy pork store pie and it was delicious. The chocolate cake with whipped cream melts in your mouth and the home made buttermilk strawberry ice cream was so good! The staff are friendly and kind; and atmosphere was casual and cozy. Definitely recommend to eat here.
Very good American style pizza. Make sure to ask for their spicy oil because it is great! The service is excellent, staff is very nice!
Is it possible to fall in love with a pizza? I think so. I’ve eaten many pizzas and OMG this one is top. I like the Vermonter with an egg on top, plus their chili crisp oil and it’s CRAZY good. You won’t regret it.
One of my favorite spots for Neapolitan style pizza in Brooklyn. We got 3 pies between 4 of us and every one was a smash hit!
Nice ambiance. We ordered 5 different pies here. Each one was delicious. A decent beer and wine selection as well.
Save your receipt and check your credit card statement!!We were incorrectly charged for our meal. I took a picture of my receipt and when I reviewed my credit card statement, I was charged more than what I had actually written down. This doesn’t sit well with me. This wasn’t an honest mistake, this was someone trying to pull a fast one. I’m sure adding an extra tip here and there adds up. Thankfully my credit card company reimbursed me for the difference. Please beware. As for the food, the pizza is fine. Our “Mushroom” pie was good while the “Anchovy” pie was super salty. We anticipated it being salt due to the ingredients, but, it wasn’t barely edible.
Pizzas were excellent. Definitely worth a visit. The staff is very attentive. The pizza pie is nice and thin. The toppings are fresh. The cheese is awesome. We were very surprised by how much we liked the egg pizza. Great discovery.
Best pizza in Brooklyn, fight me. (But absolutely do not sleep on the salads and specials.)
