A wonderful spot and it feels like an oasis in the food hall. Its very authentic and filling. The food is made by hand and you can taste the quality of ingredients. If you eat meat I highly recommend the meat pierogi, it's unlike any other pierogi I've ever had (which usually has ground meat). The borscht is not only beautiful but tasty - a burst of bright flavor to compliment the pierogis. Highly recommend for lunch or dinner!
Very good food and affordable. It's in a mall so seating is limited. There is a little bar area at each stall. We were there late so we didn't have trouble with seating but I can imagine how lunch might get crowded. I had the sampler (beef, potato & cheese, sauerkraut &mushroom) topped with bacon, carmelize onions, and a dollop of sour cream in the center and the cucumber salad. They have beer and wine but I just had root beer. My friend had a rose wine and she said it was good.
The borscht was not classic, borscht shouldn't have beans in it or a smoky flavor, same with the meat pierogis. Maybe it's just a preference of taste, but it wasn't good. The chicken soup tasted like Campbells chicken soup. The only good thing was the cucumber salad.
Lovely polish restaurant which serves delicious homemade specialities
Initially wrote a bad review about a seamless order. Turns out it was the big guy's fault (seamless) and some miscommunication. I believe the drivers are employed by seamless and are separate from the restaurant's staff. Leaving a 5 star to offset any damage my 1 star would've done! I hear this place is greatin response to the response: seamless never got in touch with me! I did try to call but I think that maybe you were restocking as you said. But if they told you they got in touch with me, they never sent me anything. Sorry!
This place was amazing. When I first walked up I thought it was probably going to be decent, but overpriced and trendy given the surroundings. I was so wrong—the pierogi sampler was unbelievable, and deceptively filling. The price was honestly a real bargain for the quality and amount of food. The guy running the place was super friendly and thoughtful, which means a lot. Get these pierogi!
Very political and no Janek
For my first time here, I ordered a mix of pierogi for takeout; it was presented very nicely. The pierogi was very filling, and the borscht is just the right mix of tart and savory. Would definitely come back.
Perfect Kielbasa, very filling pierogis. 6 pierogis are more than enough to make you full. Located in the Food Hall on the lower level.
perogies were out of this world would definitely recommend trying the potato and cheese, also the mushroom sauerkraut, superb taste. :)
