I had been here a few times during the pandemic and once or twice before. Recently held a party inside, too. The staff is really nice and accommodating. During busier hours, I did once have an order forgotten (sushi from the bar in the same space) but it wasn't anything to cry about, really. Since the change of management in the Vietnamese restaurants in 8th Avenue, this restaurant is the one which has the best flavors in the area. The decor of the restaurant is nice and reminiscent of the wooden interiors in Viet restaurants I grew up with. It's not as big and a little snug, but they are able to move tables if needed for larger parties. There is a television in the back that plays Vietnamese singing competitions, and the sushi bar is near the entrance. Outdoor seating is available in small, hut-like enclosures.Food is great. The pho is the star and the broth is really flavorful, with plenty of aromatics, just as I like it. I am partial to the dac biet, which comes with numerous cuts of beef. Sometimes, it can come off too rich or fatty, but theirs is great. Sides like the cha gio are good, with more lettuce than rolls proportionally. Other mains like the Com suon and Bo luc lac are also not bad. When we bought our own wine and cake for our party, the staff was very nice and gave us glasses, plates, and forks. They even helped us take a few pictures. They speak mostly English, Mandarin or Cantonese rather than Vietnamese, so order in the appropriate way.Overall, this is my go-to spot for pho in Brooklyn nowadays, being conveniently near an N train stop and having some good old Vietnamese flavors that are harder to find every year.

I’ve lived around the area and never even noticed when this place came about. The decor is okay, slightly unctuous. But that’s not where they lost a star. It’s the spring roll. I’ve never had spring roll that has almost no, or very little pork, with taro (a type of potato yam). It just wasn’t good. I’m glad we only got the small portion and came with four rolls. The pho was good. The beef cube with rice was good. The calamari was also pretty good but the coating was slightly thick. One of the staffer was really short and snappy with customers. I mean, overall, the quality of food is alright and their to go and Delivery orders are constant. But that’s still no way to treat customers.

I’ve been going here for a few years now and felt the need to finally post a review. The food is delicious and so is the coffee and Thai iced tea! In this pic you have the grilled chicken over rice, beef cubes, and veggie spring rolls. The pho here is so yummy, especially the beef balls! I always leave stuffed and satisfied.

The food was so delicious, I had a really bad experience in a different pho restaurant but this place was soo good. The broth was really hearty and flavorful, it wasn’t oily or bland at all. The customer service was A+, our waitress was so polite and thoughtful, she always asked me and my friends if we were okay with the food and told us about the food. I loved my experience, everything was clean, the restaurant is cozy and super homey. The portion is really good and the price is average for a pho restaurant. I love this place, i’ll definitely come back often !

I would never recommend this place!! The portion of the pho is extremely small with little soup. How am I gonna eat the pho? The price is also not reasonable. 2 people they charge us $80. My grilled chicken is also not that fresh. The taste is so weird. I would never go back to that restaurant anymore.

Best Vietnamese place in New York! Prices and serving sizes are great! Very tasty! Staff members are very welcoming ??

Portions dont fit price. Food is tasty but sometimes you get unlucky and it doesnt hit. I loved this place post quarantine and came back for the first time yesterday and i have regrets choosing it. Probably never coming back and going to stick to gia lam at 8 avenue!

This is not curry. This is just water and soup. They also just prep a girl pork chop ingredient bowl for curry

Went there for dinner with friends. We ordered phõ‘s, summer rolls, and banh mi. It satisfied my craving for phõ, especially on a cold winter night. The server was kind; the service was quick, and the food was good.

Awesome food! Very authentic. Came here with a friend and enjoyed every bite. Will definitely return soon.
