The food was absolutely delicious, the atmosphere awesome, and the waiter so professional and respectfulWill dine there again
Wonderful experience!I came here for my birthday dinner (huge deal) and everything was amazing.I started with a cocktail, not sure of the name but it was passion fruit, surprisingly strong yet perfectly sweetened. My friend, a sangria master, ordered the white wine sangria and loved it. My other friend ordered the nana (mint) tea and it looked so refreshing. For my main I ordered the glazed shallot salmon and I swapped out the mashed potatoes for the French fries. The portions were generous and everything was seasoned very well. FF's were crispy yet freshly soft and salted perfectly, veggies were also seasoned well and limpy- but in a good cooked way. I liked the salmon cut bc it was thicc yet crispy in all the right places. My friends ordered the classic fettuccini alfredo and the sushi as their mains and they enjoyed their food. The service was A1 and the waitress went out of her way to make my dinner special. For dessert I couldn't order anything containing dairy and after she let us know everything contained dairy, she returned with a cup of whipped cream (a puppaccino iykiyk) with a candle!Even though I couldn't eat it, she wanted my friends to still be able to sing HBD to me and I thought that was the sweetest gesture. That is now the energy I expect for all kosher dairy restaurants.I hope my friends tipped her well bc bday girl never pays.Décor is bright, "modern", aqua water vibes and next time I return it'll be for brunch/lunch bc the menu looks bomb.
This kosher (under supervision of Rabbi Babad) restaurant is a dairy restaurant in the Midwood section of Brooklyn. They offer an extensive menu of fish, pizza and Brunch type items like egggs and shahschka. The food is very good;one of the best dairy restaurants I have been to. Service is very good. You are not too far from the Avenue M subway station. Street parking is very difficult to find. It's a good casual restaurant and I look forward to going back to it some time soon.
Good food, fast service, nice spacious environment. Great all around.
Best kosher dairy restaurant I’ve ever been to. Favorite food was the Buffalo cauliflower. Also really great was the mushroom formaggio- even just to get the cheese leaf cracker - totally worth it. The pescada fettuccine was so delicious in so many ways, just a shame the cream sauce was too salty. The vibe is really lovely- great for dates or meetings or almost anything.Just warning about going in the last hour before they close. They sat us and then super super rushed us, shut down the kitchen at 9:45 before we’d even eaten, even though the restaurant was supposedly open much later. The waitress practically pushed us out the door (even gave me my drink in a to-go cup!) even though they easily had over 20 other people they were still serving.I will definitely try again. I am hopeful.
Food was delicious with minimal wait time and outstanding service !
Good kosher spot in Flatbush. Excellent salmon and mozzarella bites.
Foodies have long scoffed at kosher restaurants claiming to be "gourmet kosher" but Pescada (in Flatbush) comes pretty close. Catering to an upscale Orthodox Jewish community, on an otherwise residential street, it offers unusually excellent food from an encyclopedic menu, offering a variety of Italian choices (especially pizzas), outstanding grilled fish and --no surprise here -- terrific dessert choices. I had a grilled dorado and it was delicious. The (huge) whole fish required that I filet it, removing the head, tail, and backbone so don't order it if that worries you. If you have room, the dessert choices were very well done. I imagine a lot of clients come just for dessert, in fact. Service was friendly and helpful, but parking could be a problem if you don't choose Uber. The overall ambience fell short of what one finds in Manhattan establishments, with an emphasis on large tables for large family gatherings but was not a problem for us. Noise could be a problem if it were full (like on holidays) but didn't bother us on a weekday evening. The bottom line -- if "gourmet kosher" is for you, Pescada is a very good choice.
One of my favorite places to eat out. I don't live nearby, but it's worth the travel. Food is amazing, place is nice and clean. Staff are nice and helpful.
Such a great milchig place! They’re food is amazing. I’ve been here multiple times and it’s great. I will keep coming back. Highly recommend their avocado piccolo and their triple layer mousse. They’re not the most allergy friendly place. They do have allergy friendly options, but not as much as other places.
