PEPPA'S!!! I swear if I could have them in NJ I'd be a happy girl. And I am only talking about the Flatbush location. I've frequented this spot for close to a decade and it NEVER disappoints. Mainly for those late night munchies, or the after-after party. I always get the jerk chicken only plate with several festivals. I've tried the escovitch fish as well, but the jerk chicken is where it's at. It's grilled beautifully and always so juicy. The festival has a nice chew, slightly crispy exterior, doughy interior with a bit of sweetness. I have them drizzle barbecue and jerk sauce on the chicken. You can't miss!
For those who don't know ,this is the original family of peppas. Used to be Danny and peppas with Mr chin and the fish market .For me the is one of the best jerk chicken places in Brooklyn.....Try the rest but come back to peppas for the best
Always delicious fast food the jerk chicken is moist and hot ,full of flavor I like to get bbq sauce and jerk souce on the side with the Rasta pasta.

I’ve been eating fish and festivals from here for over 20 yrs , and I can say it’s by far the best fish I’ve ever tasted … I travel from New Jersey at least once a week to get me a plate .
This place used to be the best place in Brooklyn to get jerk chicken. They fell off a lot and beware if you are not west Indian don't go there cause they will give you old food.
Went on Sunday 1/09/22 and ordered my fav, oxtails with rice & peas and honestly they were pretty good just kinda pricey I guess due to inflation
If you're looking for a romantic, dimly lit restaurant with comfortable seating, keep it moving. Peppa's is all about the fluorescent-lit hole in the wall vibe and I wouldn't change a thing.
Chicken was pink and slimy never again.. way over rated... I'd rather eat street corner jerk or fisher man cove
