I heard so much about Peppa's and how good the food is, I decided to give it a try. As I approached the restaurant, I can smell the jerk chicken being prepared on a curbside smoker. As I got closer I saw a guy dressed in white, who repeatedly walked back and forth, in and out of the store, eating chicken. As he proceeded to eat, he started spewing the bones along the street in front of the restaurant. Then he proceeded to go into the restaurant and back out again eating his chicken and spewing more bones. Not sure if this guy worked for the establishment or not but he was very chatty and appeared to know many people passing by and entering the restaurant. For me, this was a total turn off and went to another spot to purchase my food. I believe Peppa's needs to talk to this person. What I witnessed may not bother some folks who proceeded to walk over spewed bones for a meal but for me this is a deal breaker.
THE BEST JERK CHICKEN IN NEW YORK CITY and I don't even like chicken. The flavors hits every spot in my tummy. I didn't mind waiting in the never-ending long line but it was worth it. The fried dumpling was super soft almost fluffy. It didn't choke like other restaurants. The pink lemonade was definitely watered down to a tee but it's ok. I don't need too much sugar. Won't buy the lemonade again. The food was definitely fresh and delicious. Restaurant was clean and maintained cleanliness. Kudos to Peppas!!! I forgot to take pictures ?

Food is great, but the cashier with the dark blonde/brown wig attitude and her demeanor is harsh, angry and rolling of eyes n sucking of teeth just for asking for the prices or how long will certain items take to be made like the brown stew fish, or pasta made my experience disgusting and not worth the purchase. The customer service by the woman is Horrible here, one of the worst experiences. The gentleman who packed my food twice before today was great. But not the cashier, purchase food from here 3x this year and All 3x it gets worst. Do not go here if you want to be treated with respect

Absolutely fresh. I had the escovitch snapper with rice and peas. The fish was so delicious! My boyfriend had jerk chicken pasta, the chicken was fresh off the grill! Absolutely tasty and a generous portion, we definitely had leftovers. Can’t wait to eat here again!

The food used to be good here before but Everytime i eat from here now the food gives me diarrhea. Don’t think the food is cooked all the way. I Wont be eating here anymore. No thanks.
