My first trip to NYC and was told I had to try this restaurant and Peaches did not disappoint. I had the fried catfish and shrimp it was super delicious and filling!! The atmosphere was cosy and the music was just right and I can’t say enough about the awesome staff. Highly recommend.
Great ambiance and friendly staff!
Ordered the shrimp and grits (they were the worst, very bland) 2 orders of French toast, they were just ok! They did remove the shrimp and grits from my bill. My bill was 80.00, 20.00 for our waitress, who was very nice. There you have it 100.00 gone food wasn’t good or hot ?
Visited with a friend. This is the 2nd or 3rd time I've eaten at this spot. I ordered the catfish. The salt and pepper fries were good (they were just well done fries). The catfish could've been better. It was so crispy I felt like I barely tasted fish.My friend ordered the french toast and pork sausage. If you don't want dinner sausage/kielbasa, don't order it. They are not links like the turkey sausage. He also wasn't a fan of the french toast, though he had ordered it before and enjoyed it. He said they didn't taste the same, so there was some definitely some consistency issues.
I wanted to take my dad out for some good food before the weekend started. I love peaches and have always had great experiences so when he told me he had a hankering for Soulfood we drove from Harlem to Brooklyn. I got introduced to peaches during the pandemic so this was my first time actually being able to sit inside of the restaurant. It was such a great experience. However, I will say the seating can get a little tight because the setting is a little intimate. Still, no complaints. I actually think it would be a really great place to rent out and have like a party but that’s a different conversation for a different day. I ordered the turkey meatloaf with the mashed potatoes and mushroom gravy. My son had the fried chicken sandwich and fries and my father had the same thing as me. No complaints whatsoever the food is so good and the portions are large. You should expect to take home some food. I love it here and I plan to return again for a fifth time.
My partner and I went to peaches today for brunch and it was amazing ! Our server was super sweet and the food didn’t take too long to come out. We went around 12:30 with no reservation and didn’t have to wait long for a table. We opted for outdoor seating which was perfect and spacious. We both had the Jim cade breakfast which was so good and super filling. I had a side of grits and collard greens and my partner had the greens and cornbread. We of course couldn’t finish it all and had to take to go’s. I would definitely come back !
My family took me there for a birthday brunch and the food is amazing. The service is a lil slow but worth the delay. Atmosphere was relaxing and surrounding people were warming. Steak and eggs with homemade potatoes(well cooked steak, sauce was nice), French toast and boneless chicken (french toast was great), she said the grits were good also.
Their rum punch was amazing and overall we had a good meal. The mac & cheese was nasty and we observed that multiple people sent it back. We couldn’t tell if the cheese itself was old or if they opted to make the dish with an aged cheese that didn’t belong. Atmosphere was enjoyable. We went with baby in a stroller and we’re appropriately accommodated. No baby changing station in restroom.
So this is my first time to Peaches in Brooklyn and the waitress was rude, telling me she was the only one who showed up to work 04/30. What does that have to do with me the customer? The eggs had no cheese as I ordered and the sister Rosetta drink had no liquor. She told me that the liquor was prebag which makes no sense. Very disappointed in the customer service of this place… I will definitely let my followers know about this place and the way you are treated.
What a great place to eat. Fantastic music, staff and atmosphere. Loved the food and excellent service. Worth a trip to BedStuy for this meal alone.
