terrible service our order has taken after 35 minutes we been seat

Amazing place. Paolo on is probably one or the best restaurant so far in Brooklyn in my opinion. The ambiance, the decor mixed with old industry and modern = beautiful !The food phenomenal ! Loved it. Recommend to anybody. The service was also great, helpful and so friendly!

I had reservations for a Thursday evening for 2 on the patio/terasse. Everything was on time and we did not have to wait for our table. We ordered drinks as well as a meal and dessert. The drinks were great and generous with the alcohol. The food was wonderful and the timing between the plates was perfect. My one small irk is with the beef tartar tostada. The dish comes comes with grasshoppers on top. As it is not common to eat grasshoppers, I think it would have been important to mention that they are on the plate. It mentioned "grasshopper mayo" but it isn't clear that actual full-sized grasshoppers are included on top.Other than that, the atmosphere was lovely and the service was fantastic.

Elevated but not pretentious Mexican cuisine in a cozy, light-filled loft space. The best thing we had was the Caesar salad with wood grilled romaine, radish, masa crunch that’s super fresh and flavorful. The pickled veggies are refreshing but very spicy. The tetela was very spring-y in flavors and good brunch choice. The steak tacos were good but not amazing, with a bit too much spicy sauce that overpowering the meat and tortilla. They have frozen drinks on tap and a good selection of wine and some natural wine.

Everything was delicious but the chilaquiles and the carnitas tacos were standouts!!

A different kind of mexican food with excellent service

Went here for brunch and the food was very good! Unique flavor combinations and riffs on classic dishes. The best part, though, was the chips and salsa which came with six salsas ranging from mild to seventh layer of hell spicy. ALL had amazing flavor!

My husband surprised me with a birthday brunch at Oxomoco! I love Mexican food, and I 110% recommend coming here if you're the same. The food was off the charts. It's definitely a bit of a splurge, but a great place to celebrate special occasions. We started off with the guava margarita with tequila and mezcal - both extremely good! Boozy but delicious. For starters we got the chips and salsa (corn tostadas paired with 6 different salsas). I love a good salsa tasting! The Oxomoco guacamole was great as well - ask for it spicy if you like the heat!We also ordered the chilaquiles...and they were AMAZING!! I would definitely come back just for them...the chips were perfectly smothered with a lovely sauce without losing their crisp, the egg was oozing out, and the black beans at the bottom warmed the dish. Highly recommend coming for brunch just for this. For tacos, my husband got the lamb barbacoa tacos and I got the beet chorizo tacos. Excellent! The meal was so delicious all around, I look forward to going back again :)

Food wasn’t that bad (was actually relatively flavorful) but there wasn’t anything that made me go “wow this is michelin star meal”Service was extremely sub-par (hence the 2 stars) - waiters were quite curt with us, for no good reason, and half of our food arrived within 10min of us ordering, and the other half took another 40 minutes. If you’re going for a michelin star meal and experience, this place isn’t itAmbience was nice and the drinks looked good (although I didn’t try any of them, so cannot confirm)

All good Mexican food, nice ambience. Great combinations and execution on every plate. Our server at the bar was great. The tuna tartare and lamb tacos that he recommended were great. The bass ceviche was fine, but the flavors a bit muddled, some as the chocolate cake. The black sesame horchata was a fun innovation. Reasonably expensive for the quality.
