Great place. Definitely must come back again.
Everything we ordered to eat for brunch was amazing. The cinnamon bun was INSANE (fluffy, sweet and a little sea salt on top). My friend didn’t like her Bloody Mary but that was the only thing. Decor inside and out is a vibe. Can’t wait to try the dinner menu next.
Excellent. The kind of restaurant you’d tell your friends living in Jersey City to make the hour-long trek to. We had the grilled bread, lamb chops, mussels, and olive oil cake. I’d recommend everything.
My wife's coworker recommended this spot and it's just 5 minutes away from home! My wife and I arrived for brunch, had an amazing first experience, and plan to come back for dinner menu tomorrow. Can't wait!
Lamb shank
Came here for my partner's birthday. We shared perfectly roasted chicken with spaghetti squash and excellent scalloped potatoes, a delicious pork shoulder ragù with gigli pasta, and mussels in a chorizo broth. She loved her drink as well. We had to wait almost 15 minutes for a table despite having a reservation and were given bar seating, so I wouldn't recommend this spot for a date.
Food was good and presentation of the food was nice. Compared to other restaurants in NYC this place has some improvements to make to stand out. First improvement would be with the waiter. She was not attentive and generally came off as in a bad mood. The hostest with the colorful pants was very friendly!!
Our server Brie was awesome! She was so sweet and attentive, and gave great recommendations based on our flavor preferences. I hope to see her when I come back. And then the food…omg ? The burrata dish was so fresh and had so many complex flavors. The freshly baked grilled bread was perfect to sop everything up with, and they gave you a generous portion (I could’ve ordered more bread because it was that delicious but I had to pace myself). I had the pork shoulder pasta and my friend had the lamb shank, and they were both delicious and tender and cozy. Brie recommended the olive oil cake for dessert and it was phenomenal. The texture was light, the flavor was fresh, and all the extra little bits they added made every bite interesting (caramelized apples, pistachios, whipped cream, ice cream, and delicious crunchy bits of something I can’t remember).Overall this was an amazing dining experience and I can’t wait to return.
Had a chance to try most of their menu. Only took a couple of photos but the food here is really really good. Probably one of the best meals I’ve had in a while. Gnocchi really good and sauce is delicious order extra bread for the sauce. Burrata, crispy chicken quarter and market fish also excellent. For dessert panna cotta and olive oil cake were super tasty. Definitely will come here again. Cheers
Great local spot, good food and good music. Cocktails hit the spot, but I’m more of a tea guy. Get the burrata- it’s great for the price. They have a ton of amaro’s if that your thing. Pretty decor and vibrant music on the weekends. Good crowd
