So this fish market may not look like they serve good seafood but I was pleasantly surprised. My friends and I were craving steamed seafood and decided to visit New Ocean King Seafood. By the way the sign says Ocean King Seafood, its the same place!!The customer service was good, the staff was respectful, kind and answered all of out questions about the seasonings and pricing. I really like the fact that they offer curry, old bay, jerk, cajun and a Baltimore seasoning options for steamed food, I am excited to try the different flavors on my next visit.I ordered steamed cajun shrimp, tilapia, scallops, oysters, corn, cabbage and sweet potatoes with fresh garlic and butter. The seafood was well seasoned and cooked to perfection. They also have fried seafood options as well. If you're in Bedstuy and in the mood for a boil, check them out!
Kenny & his Sister Katrina are the best you need seafood go here you won't be disappointed at all great service & great food but please order ahead of time because you will have a wait lol they are very busy
I LOVE THIS PLACE. Workers are friendly, place is always clean. Only down fall is, their usually crowded. But proves they have good food and prices.
The food is usually good. Sometimes they have their days when the food tastes like they were lazy. Barely seasoned , or it taste different and smell straight from the sea and they move stingy with the sausage or whatever add on you choose . then they are days when it taste really good and seasoned well. Overall 4/5
They have some of d best sea food in Brooklyn I usually get the salmon with steam vegetables it's great best to get d menu call ahead
Amazing and Fresh Seafood ALWAYS. A small joint serving up some big ad delicious flavors. Decent prices, and great portions. Lots of variety; from fried food to steam bags.IT'S DEFINITELY A WAIT TIME, BUT TOTALLY WORTH IT !. Small store so don't expect a lot of waiting room. Gets Extremely Crowed/Pack On the Weekends. Worth it ever time. Been there over 6 times already ??? ?
