The decor and ambiance was bar none...just look at the pics! The bathroom faucet was the coolest repurposed claw foot bath tub...and the replica Buddha and lantern added that extra flair...now for the food... the appetizers were great...calamari was deelish, chicken satay well flavored, the shrimp roll was good. I found the chicken dumplings dry and a bit rubbery. The entrées were a mixed bag...the fried rice was lacking sufficient seasoning...that je ne sais quoi that would put it over the edge...I had the tamarind duck and the leftovers tasted better the day after...the fish was well fried but again lacking sufficient seasoning...the steamed veggies and eggplant were desperately lacking salt...all in all this was a decent Thai spot in the heart of Williamsburg...
Absolutely delicious! I ordered Panang Shrimp Curry. It was cooked to perfection, truly it was. Waitress was very kind and friendly, too. Overall, great experience. We went during the day, but I suspect the dining lounge is prettier at night based on the photos I've seen. Highly recommended!
Everyone had great food! The green curry is delicious! The kitchen is very accommodating to vegetarians, which is nice. The bathroom is very interesting hahaha
The decoration is beautifulEvery presentation was great and deliciousPortions are big and fair for the priceThey have vegan options for almost everything
YUM! I’ve lived in Williamsburg for 10 years. Somehow I just ordered for the first time, from Nora Thai.I got the steamed dumplings and phad Thai w/ ground pork. SO delicious and flavorful - best I’ve had. Not to sweet, not dry - nuts in the side. YUM. I want to order another one!
Great food, great interior! The Pad Kee Mao (Drunken Noodle) lunch special is highly recommended. The rice noodles are one of the highest quality I’ve had around the area. Joyfully chewy, and cooked flavorfully.I didn’t have a chance to dine-in. But, during my short visit, the interior design is unique and definitely has its own vibe.
Amazing food . The spices are mixed to perfection and complimented every dish that we ordered. Chicken with cashew was the winner when it came to the most satisfying dish. The only thing that can be better is having a menu book so it ll be easy to choose given the vast dishes that they serve. The chicken fried rice is a bit bland and can be better but the cheap bar menu and thai ice tea was something that ll make me visit again.
My friend came into town on a layover and wanted to grab some dinner so we found this random spot in Williamsburg. We ate outside due to the mandates but it’s unfortunate because the outdoor heater wasn’t that great and they were playing such good music inside (R&B and Soul). So we couldn’t hear anything unless we went in to use the restroom. We ordered the calamari and the spring rolls as appetizers. The spring rolls had the right amount of crunch/flakiness. The calamari had good flavor and texture as well. For the main course, i just asked for a regular shrimp pad Thai. The menu had so many options it was hard to choose from which is a good problem to have as a pescatarian but because we were kind of pressed for time before the kitchen closed, I chose whatever came to mind.My friend had a rice dish. We both enjoyed our meals. I finished everything on my plate but the apps. ?My friend also ordered a tea which is presented really nicely with a candle underneath to keep it hot but the wind blew the candle out so that was pointless. They don’t have honey but they offered simple syrup instead. The service was good. They were on top of the bussing and checking on us. The bathrooms were also nice. The look of the establishment itself was well designed (except for the outside). It wasn’t that fun. Overall it was a great find-I’d go back when the weather is better.
I specially rate ELEANOR MOORE as the best Expert I can recommend .
Authentic Thai food in a very nice decor indoors. We have enjoyed their dinning experience numerous times. They use Thai scale for spiciness so go easy. Haven't ordered anything we didn't like. A must visit if you are in Williamsburg. Today we ordered mango salad, Drunken noodle and Tom Yong noodle soup.
