Namaste restaurant has authentic Indian taste. The food is delicious and the servers are genuine and courteous.

I REALLY wanted to like this! I've been looking for a good Indian restaurant in the neighborhood.I went here last week with a few friends. We had the Chicken Tikka Masala, one of the curries ...Naan bread, Channa Saag. Samosas, Pakoras.Everything was so bland and flavorless. Unseasoned.Chicken tikka sauce tasted like Campbells tomato soup with ZERO seasonings the worst I've EVER tasted we couldn't even eat more than a spoonful.. Saw rave reviews on it which really confused me. What a disappointing dinner. Samosa was doughy and way too big with what tasted like mashed potato filling with no flavor. Not even one good dish. We barely ate anything.I have many Indian friends and have a very good idea on how food SHOULD TASTE.I cannot understand all the rave reviews. Obviously these reviewers have no idea how real Indian food should taste.Staff was very nice and super friendly.Very attentive. Decor was attractive. Nice garden. Wish the food tasted better its 2 blocks from my apartment.Do not reccomend at all. Disappointing waste of time and money. One star only for the friendly staff.....

Poor customer service, false prices on the menu, and mediocre food. I walked in and ordered a take-out order from the menu they handed to me in the restaurant. However, when the check arrived, the prices were higher by about 5 dollars total. When I inquired about the difference, the server told me the menu had "old prices." Sounds like a shady tactic to overcharge customers hoping they won't notice the difference. When I brought the order home, 5 min later, I discovered there were no utensils or napkins in the bag (so much for take out!), the naan was mushy as if it was simply put in a microwave and heated up (it was not freshly made at all), the rice was cold, and the lamb (the few chunks that were in the dish) were ok. Buyer beware!

Actually this restaurant is for family as-well as children not only that it is suitable for couple too. As being vegetarian i had never tried tofu biryani, for at least once you guys have to try these. It is one of the best in the market. Other than that, it provides diverse language service on English, Spanish, Hindi and Nepali.

Adorable Indian restaurant located in park slope. I luckily stumbled into here one Friday afternoon for a late lunch. They have a lunch buffet special that I will be coming back to try soon. I had their shrimp biriyani and it was soooo tasty! The food is flavorful and the service was quick.

Namaste has become my go-to Indian restaurant in Brooklyn. It has amazing lunch specials, a lovely backyard patio, friendly and prompt service, and chicken tikka masala that rivals food I ate in India. This place gets a heart in my google maps and is somewhere I plan to take parents and friends who visit.

Food was great - although I felt the quantity was less. inline other restaurants, if you tell them extra spicy, they actually do make it spicy! & In the end you get free sweets - so however spicy it gets, don't worry you'll get something to calm your taste buds down!!!

Best Indian food I have had in a long time ! Amazing flavors , every dish we ordered was on point ! Service perfect and atmosphere comforting. Came twice during my trip and will most definitely be back each time I come back to Brooklyn !!!

I hired Namaste for an event I hosted. I could have not made a better choice.

We ordered the garlic naan, gobhi manchurian, chicken tikka masala, and saag paneer for delivery through caviar. Food arrived piping hot pretty quickly. The garlic naan was DELICIOUS - regretted only ordering one. Chicken tikka masala was perfect: chicken pieces were tender and moist. Gobhi manchurian had just the right amount of breading with a perfectly balanced sweet and sour sauce. The saag paneer was a tad disappointing because it was slightly dry and flavorless- the paneer pieces were bigger chunks than other Indian places and a bit harder than I'm used to. Would absolutely order the garlic naan, gobhi manchurian, and chicken tikka masala again, but I don't think I'll give their saag paneer another try.
