So here's an unusual perspective. I trained there as a waiter for two days.First off, the food is exquisite and consistent. Absolutely delicious. I'd have been happy to earn salary in meals alone. The tagliatelle is so comforting and tasty. People really like the food here. No remains of food on plates when they're cleared.Customers, many of whom were regulars, seemed happy and genuinely satisfied when they left. Was offered five shifts but ultimately had to stay with my other full time job.I'm afraid I don't have any dramatic behind the scenes experience to share. The kitchen and prep areas were immaculate. The four other waiters and bartender who trained me were kind, considerate, and helpful. Most of all the manager, Nunzio, really helped guide me and remind me of proper server protocol. He was a huge helpand so gracious. I had the opportunity to meet the owner before I left and she was absolutely charming, commanding great respect from the staff she employs. So there you have it. I really wish I could have made it work, but I plan on making it my regular go to when my own garden biz takes off!Ciao
Going to give it 5 stars for price point.Dessert and pasta was phenomenal. Service was great!Outdoor seating could be a little more comfortable.Overall a great find.
A hidden gem in Greenpoint serving delicious, gourmet pasta. We loved the ricotta agnolotti with truffle butter sauce and the strozzapreti with rabbit legs and pecorino, as well as the amazing roasted cauliflower with pine nuts and golden raisin. Unfortunately, the tiramisu was a bit too sweet and not enough coffee flavors. The service was friendly and the ambiance was lovely, without any pretentious crowds. The interior was cozy yet perfectly spacey, with decent bar seats.
Great spot close to the East river. A few street side seats.Crispy eggplant is a great starter. Loved the pastas. Olive oil cake was a wonderful end to the dinner
Such a cute, cozy and authentic place. Food and drinks were excellent. This is definitely some of the best Italian in Brooklyn! The service is so friendly and attentive. All around great spot!
Been coming here for over 5 years and it remains some of the best pasta in New York. Always friendly and great service and never once had a bad meal! Crispy eggplant starter, Ravioli main and Affogato desert are highly recommended..
excellent pasta
This is one of my favorite restaurants in Greenpoint. Cozy atmosphere and great service. The food is incredible. I have not had a dish I didn’t love.
Love this place! The pasta dishes are fresh and tasty. My go to dish is the ribeye steak. It is so flavorful and grilled to perfection. The bartender is an amazing mixologist. Dining room is cozy. Outside seating is available. Enjoy ?
Really good food but portions were laughably small for the price/for an adult human being. $18 for a first-sized portion of spaghetti, smh, had to cook up some more food when we got home. Service was prompt and kind.
