Always great! Love this place, sometimes have dinner there with son. Delicious food, nice stuff and comfortable atmosphere.
Best sushi restaurant in the zip code and on Kings Highway. I have been going to this place for years, and the service and food have always been fantastic.
The food was good; however, the service was slow. I noticed they neglected tables like mine to chat with regulars. So for that reason and a nasty hot sake, I had to take off one star. I've often ordered to go as it's close to where I live, but this was my first time sitting in. Towards the end, they were so distracted chatting up with regulars I had to walk up to the desk to pay out my bill as I had a full meal there and takeout.
While the sushi is tasty, the portions have become extremely small after the pandemic hit. I ordered deluxe sushi to go, and on a windy day the bag the food was in almost flew away, that's how light their portions have become, it was what seemed to be 100 grams for that $20 something order. Also, I always notice their cooks taking cigarette breaks on the avenue P side of their store, the kitchen looks dirty, who knows if those cooks wash their hands after they return from their break.
I just love this place. Fits all budgets and tastes. I really have not a single bad thing to say about it. The service is awesome. The manager is such a lovely lady. The bathrooms are pristine. That's how u know how clean it is. Gr8 place in the heart of Midwood where you do not have many nice places a walk away on a Saturday night.Food is always fresh and u have many options for kids. I did an event for my son and they accomodated me so well. What an amazing staff!UPDATE: I would like to add that they are very aware of ppl with gluten sensitivities and cross contamination. Just ask for Andre.

This food was phenomenal!!!!I don’t know if the chef changed or maybe the recipes, but the post COVID come back is amazing.What we ordered :Tropicana roll without the eel was amazing. The mango on top is the perfect touchChicken in stir fried udon and chicken teriyaki was very tender and juicy.And the service as always, very attentive and friendly.
Even though the prices are pretty decent, I have been there about 4 times. 3 out of 4 times were great, but.... I'm not a fan of complaining, but went there yesterday with my friends and I was so disappointed. First of all, we have been waiting for sushi rolls for more than 45 minutes, not to mention that the attitude by our waiter was just awful. inappropriate jokes and he did not even want to listen properly what were asking for. But the worst thing - me and my friends felt so nauseous afterwards, I guess the fish was not fresh, but this shouldn't be happening.
The food was good but it takes forever for anybody to come to you and it's very cold inside! (Tri color sashimi on the picture)
Eating in the restaurant is completely different from ordering over the phone. If you can make it into the restaurant. Good food, a bit pricey but it’s good every single time
