Ordered the crab bag , Candied yams and Mac and cheese . Was highly disappointed given the reviews I saw. The boil itself was not even average, it was dry, the taste was off, and it look as though they just threw already made dishes in a bag. I ordered late in the evening, don't know if this have anything to do with it.it looked like everything was the last scapings. Will not be ordering from here again.
Everything i have eaten so far was very tasty. The macaroni baked chicken turkey wings was fantastic
A few weeks ago First and foremost the reason I'm writing this post is because not only the employees were rude and unprofessional. This was my first time ordering from this restaurant I came here because my parents told me about it.I was in the mood for seafood everybody was hungry let's go. I walk in they were two person, ahead. As I was standing there I noticed everyone must order, pay then wait. Nothing strange about that "right"? This nothing new. I did the same. but this is the catch. I stood waiting for close to 25 minutes watching other people walking in and out and Uber eats,doors dash get there food. Being very patient.Thinking I just spent $89 maybe the attention would be given soon its a big order. but no.finally young lady say there is items that I ordered that is not available anymore it has run out. I'm thinking I been here pretty long and saw those items being shared out earlier. Then the young lady at register said would I be willing to take substitutes. Fine I say already tired of waiting.15 more minutes go by this time I asked for my money back. I ask to speak to management crickets ? The young lady said do see the sign no refund. I said no I did not see that. But that is beside the point you haven't even given me my food. She looks at me and says they are bagging your food now. No they wasn't. I said so you holding me hostage and I can't get food or my money.( still waiting for the food. All the workers walking back and forth looking at me viciously as if I was not supposed to be upset or annoyed. Finally after the long wait and aggravation. No money back they hand me my bag of food no apologies no courtesy no customer service skills nothing. The Icing on the cake is when I got home I received nothing I ordered(not even the substitute) and the food I did get taste old and look like pot scrapping horrible that's what I got for $89 close to $100 spent at this establishment. I love to support black owned businesses especially Caribbean. But the lack of respect and professionalism . Your doing no favors we the customer is who hold you up. It's about the principle and the $89 money I spent on food for my family. I work hard for my money, especially in these times I don't have money to waste.You need employee training in customer service and better food management and rotation so food don't run out or get stale.Just saying ?
I’ve eaten the menu and specialty plates from them and they never let me down the staff are always helpful and kind! Salmon and double Mac-n-cheese is a hit ask them to burn it with the pepper sauce if you like it spicy ? you won’t be mad! Don’t mind the picture I had to show y’all I was serious
Fried shrimp was good, the fried fish not so much. The fish had a funny aftertaste, ended up throwing it out. The yams were excellent, the collard greens were tasty and my hubby said the mac and cheese was good. Friendly staff but messed up my order and it takes a while to get your food (call your order in and pick up)
I went to this restaurant in BK. I was visiting the area from out of town. The menu looked good and the reviews looked good. I ordered the shrimp, wings, whiting and fries. Didn’t realize those come with sides, she didn’t ask because it seems my order was a bother. As I waited I ordered something else but I must have been distracting her away from her phone because again with the attitude.I waited a while. I read a review that said they take a while so I was prepared. Well I went to ask how much longer because I never got a Receipt. This girl had my order this entire time while she was on her phone. Then had the nerve to act like I was bothering her. I didn’t say anything took my order and left. Well on the way home my $30 meal had no sides and no fries. I wasn’t going back which is why I decided to white a review. I like to support local businesses but we have to do better with the customer service training. I wasn’t looking for conversation, just decent service. This was so disappointing. My nephew liked the food. I didn’t even eat it.
This used to be my favorite go to Seafood restaurant in Brooklyn until yesterday. I ordered the so called fish sandwich, which wasn't a sandwich at all to begin with. It was 1 small piece of fish cut into 3 pieces, with 2 slices of bread. In other words, you had to make the sandwich yourself!! I also ordered the macaroni salad which was totally tasteless. Basically, they are now charging a lot of money for food and service that has become subpar, to say the least. Unfortunately, they have lost some loyal customers after yesterday! For shame as this is exactly how our people usually go out of business! Sad!
We ordered crab legs, shrimp, corn with fries on the side.The food came in a warm tray & was still hot upon arrival which took longer than I would have hoped but absolutely worth the wait. Everything was seasoned well. You could smell the deliciousness seeping out of the bags. There was a lovely layer of sauce coating the bottom of the tray that allowed for each bite to be as juicy as the last. The sauce was a bit spicy for my liking but I kept it pushing because...I SIMPLY MUST. Normally I wouldn't order fries for delivery BUT these fries were crunchy upon arrival which was great. I can't wait to order again, but keeping in mind the extra long wait time. Overall this was a dangerously delicious seafood platter and very pleasant delivery driver.
I usually order from this restaurant through Uber Eats. It is 6:20 PM January 4, 2022. I called because they never send utensils nor do they provide me with the hot sauces and ketchup when I order but charge .50 per request. This lame gal name Michelle answered the phone and gave me A LOT of attitude and told me “That’s how we do things” she didn’t care about anything I was saying after spending over $100 with then. STINK MOUTH MICHELLE HUNG UP THE PHONE ON ME. Her customer service is disgusting and they should refrain from having her answer the phone. She is truly bad for business. I know she stink based on her nasty attitude. Get a better job of disrespecting people is your aim after money have been spent. Dutty gal Michelle gweh. I’m coming for my refund
The food and service was on point. Very friendly and kind. I loved it and would recommend going there if your in the neighborhood
