Unassuming deli with spectacular bagels and fresh cream cheese, truly a staple in the neighborhood and the only affordable deli in the immediate area. Delicious breakfast sandwiches and coffee too.
Great bagel spot in Brooklyn heights. Very sizable portions of cream cheese and nice fluffy bagels. Take your bagel to the promenade right after for great views
Definitely was not hot... but it sure was hard. My first New York bagel and i was HIGHLY disappointed. Will not be returning next visit!!
It may not be name brand, but Montague Street Bagels is a great place to get a hot bagel any day of the week. They're fast and efficient and their bagels are big and fluffy. I don't know what else you could possibly want.
This place is good in the morning and afternoon but don’t go in the evening because you won’t get what you ordered. You will get whatever is easiest for them to make. My fault for going when it was close to closing time. Wasted my money
I go here all the time mostly because there isn’t any other option close by. The bagels are decent but the quality definitely seems to have gone down hill. Last few times I went in the bagels were not round looked kind of flat and had a very crusty almost burnt bottom. Perhaps they need to let them rise a bit longer. Not really sure but something isn’t right.
Excellent go to bagel spot in Brooklyn Heights. Never disappoints, the bagels are always as expected. I really appreciate their hours and flexibility
Do not buy home fries from here!!!!! I was told not to order from there due to always making mistakes on orders, but I still gave it a try and found hair in my home fries... NEVER AGAIN!
Toasted garlic bagel with lox scallion spread was excellent! One of the better bagel places in the area, will definitely be back.
No frills just quality fresh made bagels (you can see them making the bagels in the back). Great selection of schmears (including multiple dairy free options).
