1st time trying their food I decided to go for their Lunch Special of 50% off Dine-In..hoping to save a few bucks today while having a quick lunch!Learned too late, that Everything is ala carte Aaah!?,.. including the rice, chutney and raita!Frankly, I was very surprised as this made my “discounted” lunch (including bread) $30 incl. about $5 for tip?! Aaah! Haha!?The server, an efficient woman, barely spoke to me the entire time I was there,.. she did answer questions asked directly… ie: there’s no rice with my dish? No. no mint chutney or raita? No.I had ordered the Lamb Korma for the main course…Omgosh, now that the entrée is on the table I might as well order them… sigh…Anyways, all the dishes of food tasted fresh.. yay… alternately, all the dishes of food were Very mild and Very bland.. and sweet!I stopped by a few days later and spoke with a friendly young man working there,… conclusion~ the flavorings and spices on the menu, were adjusted according to the palates of the majority in the neighborhood…With that said, I understood and added 2 stars to my original thoughts.

Absolutely love this place for both takeout & eating in. Food is always high quality & delicious, easily the best Indian food we’ve found in Brooklyn so far. The restaurant itself is super cute & has indoor and outdoor seating which we love. Also there’s a great lunch special so we can eat more “family style” & select a bunch of a new things to try on the menu!

Very good ambience. Very good South asian food. I was able to taste the best Gobi Manchurian after decades at this restaurant. Their onion naan are god level. If you need some vegan, Kale salad is very good with hint of spice unlike any other place. There are other stuff we need to try, am sure they will be good too. They cater to customers taste very closely. For us it is regular visit, moreover our 2 year old seem to enjoy this place.

Great food, very nice people and BYOB!

Good food and excellent service!

We ordered chicken tikka masala and chicken korma. They were delicious, very tasty, not creamy, was perfect. I was looking for a good Indian food in Brooklyn and I think finally I found it.

Ambiance is good, but food in general is just average. We didn’t like the Manchurian and the server kinda forgot the order and made a couple of mistakes in terms of noting our orderJain options available. I liked their Dahi Wada and Paneer Bhurji

This is far and away our favorite takeout spot in the area. The food is as delicious as it is unique. On the two occasions we dined indoors, we were met with warmth and hospitality. We will always choose Mint Heights when looking to patronize a local business.

My husband and I had an absolutely delicious meal here last weekend. The food was flavorful, fresh and authentic. Staff was SO friendly and accommodating. BYOB which is always nice in BK, and very affordable. Will be back many times!!

I've tried a lot of different restaurants that serve Indian cuisine in NY. This was hands down the best, freshest I've had. The staff was delightful, and the restaurant itself was lovely (especially the mural along the back wall)
