First time coming here today since the new owner took over. The place looks really nice, but bathroom still needs work. Food was good. Sharon was my server and she was very nice. Nice to know that it’s still good now that George is no longer there. Hope it stays around because I have been a Royal’s customer for about 30 years when I lived in Bay Ridge.

I usually don't complain about the food. I went there today and I was very disappointed. I ordered a Cobb salad. What I got was tasteless chicken over lettuce with a little bit of cheese. I will not order this again. I have been to the Royal Diner numerous times when it was under the old management. The food was always good. Today, I was very disappointed. They need to improve a lot.
I stopped by yesterday for the first time for a quick breakfast. Since this restaurant has recently changed its name to Mike's Royal Diner, I could see that they are making modifications to the inside of the restaurant. The waitstaff is friendly and the food came out pretty fast. I was amazed on the large portion size of my Italian Omelette. I really got my monies worth with that meal since it filled me up for breakfast and lunch! They are making changes to the prices on the menu, but from what I see it is pretty darn reasonable. The only thing is that the bathroom is a tad small and there really isn't too much room. Overall, I would definitely come here again the next time I am passing through the area.
I order here a couple times a week and it’s always great! Cheese burger deluxe is amazing
This is an old fashion dinner. Good for people who eat alone. I try to stop in when I am in the area. Hope it never closes. Staff is friendly.
