Nice place for Mexican food. The mole is pretty good but what was pretty outstanding to me was the carnitas. Pretty full plate if you’re super hungry. They charge $1 for extra tortillas ☹️ but it’s ok, could be worse! Definitely recommend!
Only giving this place a 2 because of the food as it was decent and drinks were ok. The whole experience was bad. We called ahead to see if we needed reservations or if there was a long wait time for 5. The guy on the phone said there was absolutely no wait time and walk ins are welcome. We get there10 mins later and we ended up waiting 30 mins for a table. We didn’t even get a water pitcher as they were cleaning them, but the table next to us ended up getting one and that was about 45 mins after we got there. Then the whole dinner felt like we were being watched and rushed. Super uncomfortable. First time going and definitely not going back. Do not recommend.
Went to this restaurant after seeing the movie “I Carry You With Me” based on Chef Ivan’s life. AMAZING. Must see movie and must go to the restaurant. Ambiance was welcoming and food was SO DELICIOUS. I had the Enchiladas with Red Sauce and they were so good. The drinks honestly were not great and tasted watered down - but I would go again just for the food!
It really is an extraordinary Restaurant and the staff is very friendly / attentive and the Foos is wow wow wow. It was Saturday night without reservation and they have done everything possible to reserve me a table at the last minute. I would definitely come back to this place!!!

Very nice food and great service. Not uncommon to find authentic Mexican food nowadays in the area, but this place was particularly good! The chile en nogada was delicious. We also tried the suadero tacos (yum) and a hibiscus -Jamaica- mezcal margarita which was amazing. I will definitely come back again!
Really solid Mexican food and cocktails. A huge selection of tequila and mezcal — they have both traditional and more inventive cocktails. The service and decor were really great and I had a good experience here. Delicious all around.
Really cute restaurant! I got the chicken tinga tacos for takeout. The tortillas fell apart bc they were a little soggy, but they were very tasty!
Excellent modern Mexican! Some of the best tacos and tamales I’ve ever had. The cocktails are fantastic as well!
