So happy I finally got to Mazzat. All the dishes I had were outstanding. The Babaganouj, the Foul Madammus, the Mousakaah. And the Turkish coffee was lovely. Also, let’s talk about falafel. It can be hard to find good falafel in Brooklyn. But Mazzat has excellent falafel: flavorful, crispy outside, moist inside. I will definitely be back.
Had an absolutely delightful lunch here. We ordered the hummus, falafel, and the salmon platter and every single thing was delicious, and the waiter was super friendly and attentive. Great little hole in the wall.
This is a great restaurant!! The food is fabulous, the prices reasonable and the service outstanding! Do yourself a favor and eat a meal here!! There is such love on this place!
We always have a great meal every time we come here! Last visit, Jay recommended the lamb shank, and it was the best lamb I have ever had. Great atmosphere, great service, great food.
I had the best cassoulet the other night! The subtle and fragrant spices are a mystery but the dish, here, is better than any fine French restaurant. Jimmy is a true chef! My husband and I have been coming here for years. Every meal has been exquisite and the service, impeccable and friendly.
Mazzat has some of the best food, as well as some of the best service I have ever experienced! The flavor in every dish is so authentic and so mouthwatering. I have become quite addicted to the hummus and refuse to eat any other hummus that is not made by Jimmy from Mazzat !
We Met my son for brunch this past Sunday. We were greeted by the very gracious Jay who made wonderful suggestions. He told us about the lamb stew..."even if you think that you don't like lamb." Boy was he right. I had the lamb shank and absolutely loved it. Dessert? We loved the vanilla ice cream on phyllo pastry with banana flambe and DON'T forget a cup of turkish coffee.
Ate here with the family for the first time tonight. What a great meal! We met the owner and he was wonderful as were his team working there. Food was just delicious! Don’t miss it. Worth the short walk over the BQE for sure. Get the chicken and the falafel!!
My family and I have loved Mazzat for years! I crave the falafel-- it's perfectly crispy on the outside and light on the inside. The lamb is tender and well spiced, and don't leave without dessert! We had Kunafa and highly recommend it.
Excellent service, excellent food, excellent environment! Will definitely return. Falafel 10/10 highly recommend.
