Been here twice already—great place to get brunch!! Compared to the rest of Bay Ridge it definitely has more of a Williamsburg / hipster vibe to it… except the prices are a lot lower than getting brunch at Williamsburg. I highly recommend the brunch burger ? Wait staff were also very friendly. Try to come a bit later in the day if coming on a weekend… there’s quite a bit of a wait during peak brunch hours.
Without a doubt, Matter serves the best coffee I've ever had in my life. Even surpassing Italy or Argentina.Outrageous cocktails are fun too.They're bringing a hipster vibe to Bay Ridge.Prices match the quality and service - definitely worth it.
Quiet. Cute, and super nice. Very very Tasty drinks. Only downside is the bathroom, I had no clue if it was locked or open. Stress peeing that someone was going to open it on you is not thw best way to pee.
I LOVEd it here! Spent a lot of my summer time outdoors here. I loved the salads so much! This place is so so so good!
Great energy ! Food was great ! The bartender Jenny was so welcoming! She recommended us drinks as well as food ! New York is back !

Honest and kind servers that go beyond, my only critique is I wish they were open for longer periods of time. I had the coconut ginger rum drink they do not skimp on alcohol or flavor my boyfriend had alamo and some other tequila based drink which was also very tasty. Will definitely come back to try the food the menu looks very eclectic. Also they play really good music.

I really wanted to try avocado toast and if that’s what you are here for and don’t like strong flavors, this is not for you. It was rather bland but the purple (onion?) was very strong. There was a flavor that bothered me. Otherwise the place is nice and. small
