Tried this place out for the first time and it’s now definitely one of my favorites in the neighborhood! The yucca croquettes and the pesto pasta were extremely delicious, and the staff was also very friendly!

I want to love this local eatery. It has GREAT potential. I went here walking my dog, and they allow dogs for outside seating; awesome. I had their foxy brown drink, which was the highlight of my experience, and I would return for it. I had Brussel sprouts and their yucca app; both had significant potential but needed salt. It had no flavor. Reading other reviews there's a theme...With a bit of salt, it would elevate the food. I would return to try it because it can become my local hangout, and the staff was charming and welcoming.

Went for brunch with my wife and daughter.....I had the shrimp and grits, my wife had the cardamom pancakes, and my daughter had eggs Benedict...... everything was delicious! My daughter and I shared, and my wife didn't finish her's, so my daughter and I did. The service was excellent, very attentive. I felt the prices were pretty average for NYC.... looking forward to try dinner sometime....

Mama Fox was quite good! The servers were extremely attentive and friendly when I came in for Sunday brunch. I had the french toast with a side of sunny side up eggs, all of which was delicious. I think my only qualm is that there was apples on the french toast, which I found a little odd in place of berries (and not quite as good, although not bad). I also wanted to note that there is a $20 minimum for cards, and they cannot put a fee or something if you are below $20, so if you plan to stop in just for coffee or drinks that is a good thing to be aware of!

Small touches would've made this experience a 10/10First would be, adding more salt to the tamarind calamari and creating a thicker more well rounded sauceSecond would be, perfecting the desserts, the chocolate mousse resembled more of a pudding/icecream texture, the flavor was suuuper cacao-y which is a YES but it's not giving light whipped moussey texture. The apple pie was not ooo gooey soft apples and lacked a proper crust...not much of a flaky or sugary sweet taste. Please stop with crunchy apples....Other than that, ambiance is great, drinks are amazing and entrees were beautiful done. Didn't lack in the flavor department. Just note that the chicken pillard wasss stacked with arugula :)Beautiful atmosphere, would definitely come back to try more.

I am just going to throw flowers because GREAT SERVICE on top of good food is the secret sauce to having regulars. My hubby & I went with our baby for a quick Saturday Brunch. The hostess was accommodating and found the perfect table for our stroller. The server was attentive and present but still gave us space. The Manager was hands on, I am just grateful to have found a spot in our area to come back again & again! KEEP IT UP! You will come through at dinner soon. Order the Eggs Benny & The Burger is slamming if you haven't had a Tasty worthy burger. JUST TRY IT & I know you will love it Brooklyn.

Enjoyed our dinner here. Had chicken liver mousse and salmon over the kale salad. Good cocktail menu.

Stopped by for a weekend brunch. Shrimp and grits was ok, appreciated that the shrimp was tender and perfectly cooked, however was not the freshest, had a slightly fishy smell/taste with the grits on the blander side. Cardamom pancakes were good but much larger than expected, comes with 2 pancakes that are very thick, had to take most of it home. Avocado toast was basic. Wished that the Elderflower spritz had more of an elderflower taste. Bar and interior is cute, bathrooms are clean. Service was good.

The first time I came here was in person for Brunch. I got the Biscuits and Gravy and it was absolutely perfect. Just the type of gravy that I had been looking for and the crispy sage leaf added a nice texture and taste. I’ve come two other times for pick up to get the same dish and my first impression has since changed to disappointment. The second time, the gravy was gritty, not mixed right. The third time the gravy was too thick and the egg was over cooked and rubbery.I’d like to order again and try some of their other dishes or come for dinner time, but only will if I’m looking to dine in, which isn’t very often that I do that. Also, they have their own ordering system through their website if you want to order online. I didn’t know at first because typically google will show if a restaurant has one or a preference. When I picked up the staff lectured me a bit on it, but I already know to do that, just didn’t see it. Made me wonder if they don’t like to put as much care for 3rd party takeout orders.

Great place for a date night. Friendly staff, great food and drinks. No one was left unattended or left out. Will definitely return. The roasted duck breast was to die for. Thanks!
