The owners were a delight, prices super fair (thank you for that!!) and above all, the food and ambience were A1. One of the owners recommended a meal for me based on my Astro chart and was spot on! We had two pasta dishes, one was a special, the other from the menu, the seafood frito mixto which was super fresh and hot and delicious, and the tiramisu. All fabulous. Can’t wait to be back ☺️

Really incredible all around! Not quite a hidden gem, but still a little off the radar for now. The food is so good and so much better than any other Italian in the area, all other Brooklyn purveyors of frito misto and oxtail ragu are on notice! The wine list was also lovely and great cocktails too. Not to mention its an incredible value with most (homemade) pasta dishes around $20 and most adult beverages $10-12. Fantastic service! Quickly a neighborhood favorite for me!

Had the farro squash salad, burrata with sunchokes, sage butter gnocchi and a tomato baccalà pasta special - all of it was divine + a great selection of wine and tasty cocktails, and had a nice tiramisu for dessert + espressos. Great service and a cozy atmosphere! Highly recommend!

This place is fantastic. All of the pastas are homemade and immediately bring me back to my nonna’s kitchen. Owners/staff are so friendly and will chat with you at the bar while you wait for take out!

Really delicious food. Cozy vibe with rustic decor. Wine and amazing variety or Negroni's. Soothing music. Wonderful welcome. Bravissimo !!

Don’t be fooled: a casual, neighborhood vibe hides the best Italian food in the neighborhood, hands down.

Really yummy. Super short of servers (which makes it all slow, even paying). Food was so yummy we didn’t have time to take pics, empty plates tell you all ?

amazing. wine is incredible, food is mind blowing, service is lovely. can’t recommend enough

Had the most amazing experience at Macosa Trattoria. I was planning a 30th birthday dinner with 20 guests, so was super stressed. The team at Macosa Trattoria put me at ease right away, offering a range of menu options and answering all of my stressed-out questions in the lead up. On the night there was the potential for a sprinkle of rain, so they had even covered the whole back yard for us. The table looked gorgeous, the food is delicious (it always is) and they even organized a few bottles of special wine for us on request, and heated up the mountain of cinnamon buns I brought and forgot to tell them about. They were so patient. They really serve you with love there, I can't recommend enough. It's a lovely neighborhood spot for anything from popping in to get a pasta and wine for one, to hosting a large group.

If you finish your Pasta dish, and there is minimal sauce left, that means they made an authentic Italian Pasta Dish the right way. These guys here did it the right way, hands down better than most spots in Manhattan too
